One of the Worst Experiences Ever at Hungry Jacks

I recently placed an online order from Hungry Jacks, and it was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Every single burger we received was stone cold, like they had been sitting out for hours. The chips and nuggets were equally bad – cold and tasteless, almost like they’d been pulled straight from the refrigerator. The onion rings were even worse – they might as well have been horse food.

To make matters worse, not only was the food disgusting, but they messed up the entire order. I ordered a veg burger and got one with bacon instead, and asked for plum sauce but was given spicy sauce. The only redeeming part of the meal was the Coke.

I called the store to ask for replacements, as the food was completely inedible. I had to waste more time going back to the store, and when I got there, not a single apology came from the manager. I was made to wait for almost 20 minutes, and the service was incredibly slow. The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually working, and the manager didn’t seem to care at all about what was happening. I even saw him dumping returned food without a second thought.

I wasn’t the only one – several other customers were frustrated and also returned their orders. If the owner of this store is reading, I highly recommend getting your staff in order and improving your service, or it won’t be long before no one wants to come back.

A young lady member of your team. Seemed to be a senior member. Was arrogant, rude, obtuse and lacking in the common principal of Customer Service. A customer in front of me ordered and was served an ice coffee then asked for a straw and was told by this member "they over there in a box get it yourself!" I ordered 2 Sundays, a strawberry and a caramel for $6.80. I was given 2 x 3/4 a plastic cup Sundays with a drizzle of both the strawberry and a caramel on the edge of the inside top of the icecream. I said "I've never received 3/4 cup of a Sunday please could you fill it up as it should be?" Your Team member said "no, that is how it is and obviously you have been given too much!" I complained that is not the case as I have been buying that Sunday for a number of years from Hungry Jacks. Dear Hungry Craps!

Fast food is garbage, but this was on another level! Ordered a meal for myself and my partner on Menulog. Arrived on time BUT… completely wrong items!. Called the shop. They told me I have to drive in and get a replacement. First bloke was apologetic, the rest of the chicks at the front counter ignored me and just chatted between each other. But the icing on the cake after all this was the lad who gave me my food. With a sour face he slammed the food bags down on the bench and was grasping them like a dead cat. Rolled his eyes and walked away. I hate to be a Karen but this whole experience was terrible. Wasn’t even menulogs fault. After all that they gave us the wrong sauces, luke warm drinks with no syrup in the Fanta. Just garbage teenagers who don’t care about service. If I could give no stars I would.
