I ordered a 2 bacon and egg rolls, (breakie burger) mocha and chocolate milkshake and got my drinks 5 minutes after ordering, which was good, but while waiting for my food I watched 5 other people get their food which all had either bacon and/or egg on it and I asked them what was going on with my food, they said they were just putting it on plates and I asked them to do take away as I already waiting 20 minutes and needed to get somewhere else anyways, when I got my food it was cold, like it was sitting there for a good bit before I even asked. I mean to me when your cooking a lot of bacon and eggs in the morning it should be hot or at least warm when you get your food, but the food was cold and I waited 20 minutes for it already. To me it just doesn't make any sense. Especially after watching 5 other people get their food with bacon and eggs on it already. Apart from that the coffee and the milkshake were good until we waiting for so long for our food and the coffee went cold and the milkshake went luke warm. Idk if this is everyone's experience or just mine but It left a sour taste in my mouth, if I wanted to get cold food and wait 20 minutes I would probably just go to maccas. Yet this place is a proper cafe with standards at least that's what I...
Read moreI have made a complaint to Jamaica Blue head office but like most places they are not interested, no reply, for the safety of clients - especially those that may have severe milk allergies the below you should take in. The Barista's at the Tuggerah store making coffee have no idea around food safety and how important it is to NOT cross contaminate the different milks it is obvious they have not been trained correctly nor management care about the food and safety act., pouring milk into already boiled jugs of old already processed frothed milk with only top ups, consistently over 30 minutes that I observed instead of discarding already frothed protein and starting fresh in cleaned jug for every client, wiping down benches with same cloth used to clean wand every 4-5th coffee, boiled milk remaining on wand between coffees ... the list of wrong process goes on...Soy milk/ almond milk etc. being cross contaminated with wand and thermometer is extremely dangerous, especially to a person that has extreme dairy allergies, your practices can hurt someone.
I would advise you to ensure your staff are trained in how to handle milk / protein safely - your customers rely on you to supply them a product of a high standard that is safe to drink and to...
Read morebreakfast with my daughter yesterday and was quite disappointed, even my daughter knew that was not scrambled eggs n look terrible I said look might look it but hey might taste yummy.
It looked like it was just done in the microwave and chopped up had no taste & no didn’t taste good at all, the bacon wasn’t very cooked that much. My daughter was really frustrated and angry & I felt bad she payed for the breakfast & coffee as well.
Yes, I could’ve went back & asked for it to be redone But she was so angry & annoyed because she was so hungry that she didn’t wanna wait.
It’s just quite disappointing I don’t know Are these actually chefs/cooks or have the experience in that field & just asked to cook food as they don’t need a certificate, but they can be shown the way to make something and be phenomenal at cooking certificate doesn’t mean anything.
My suggestion to the owner is have a scrap container and see how much wastage goes into it and also leftovers from customers maybe that will give you a fair idea of what’s going on.
The customer is beside me barely touch their food & got up and left. I was like what the hell what a waste of money then I realize why.
I cannot fault the stuff but as I said the food it’s very very...
