Hidden gem alert! Jimmy G’s Cafe in West Gosford might look unassuming, but don’t let the simple decor fool you - this place delivers every single time.
Their potato rösti with eggs Benedict is absolutely champion - we’re completely obsessed. The coffee hits the mark too, and I love that they do proper large takeaway cups for people like me who need serious caffeine.
What really gets me is the kitchen attention to detail. Ask for something slightly different and the whole team stops to listen to your order. As someone with a hospitality background, I massively appreciate when a place genuinely cares about getting it right.

We’ll still come back for the wrap, but still, would have been nice for them to do it.
The chilli eggs were too spicy for my taste, and I work at an Indian restaurant, so that’s saying something. Normally when adding chilli to a dish you’d have to balance it with savoury and sweet. I get that this is not the recipe, but it had me coughing, I imagine it was dry chilli powder that they added. I’ll still come here to try different dishes, but not the scrambled chilli eggs.
Coffee is always great from here, juice is always fresh and...
