Over the Easter holidays, my husband and I, along with two other couple friends, decided to try out this restaurant. At first glance, everything felt promising — the ambience was warm and inviting, and the starters were absolutely fantastic. We were all excited for a relaxing evening out.
But unfortunately, things started going downhill from there.
We arrived at 5:45 PM and ended up paying the bill just after 8 PM. Since it was a public holiday, we completely understood that the staff might be short and things could take longer than usual. So we were patient — we didn’t question the slow service or the long waits. But the delays were excessive. Each item we ordered took at least 30 minutes to arrive, and by the time the food came out, we honestly couldn’t remember what we had ordered.
At one point, we were even served a dish none of us had asked for. It wasn’t something we ordered, but after waiting that long, we just ate it anyway.
When the bill arrived, we mentioned to the staff that everything else was lovely, but there was one item we didn’t order. Still, we said it was okay — we had eaten it, so we’d pay for it. What disappointed us wasn’t the extra charge, but the staff’s attitude. There was no apology, no thank you — just a cold, “Well, you ate it, so pay for it.”
That response left a bad taste, more than any food could. We weren't looking for a discount or a fight, just a bit of courtesy. A simple “Sorry for the mix-up” would’ve gone a long way.
Sadly, that experience was enough for us to decide that we won’t be going back. The ambience and food might have been great, but service like that is...

Read moreWe had an awful experience here. We wanted to have Indian food, so we visited this restaurant. We didn't make a booking; however, there were plenty of empty tables when we showed up. Regardless they offered us the corner of a big table next to the cashier. Needless to say, we felt like two doormats. Another couple, who has booked a table, showed up just after us. They were offered a nice table, and they finished their meals left the place whilst we waited for our entrée. NB. all this time, there were plenty of free tables. We ordered curry, roti, biriyani and masala tea. After hours of waiting, the crappiest masala tea and the biriyani were served to us. All we had was one sip of tea and a spoon of biriyani. Both were inedible. Curry and the roti were not perfect, but we could survive on it. Just avoid this place (the experience will ruin your holiday) because you will be treated bad, served disgusting inedible food after hours of waiting, will be graciously charged for all the food that...
