A Home Away From Home!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this lovely accommodation, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by Sandra, the wonderful owner, whose hospitality truly sets this place apart. It’s clear she takes great pride in making every guest feel like they’re at home.

The rooms were impeccably clean and cozy, with beds that were incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud. You can tell that no detail is overlooked, and the new management has done an outstanding job ensuring everything is perfect. It felt like every corner of the property had been thoughtfully cared for, making my stay extra special.

A highlight for me was the amazing cheese platter that was waiting when I arrived—such a lovely touch and a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel. It’s those little extras that make all the difference!

The location is also fantastic—right in the heart of everything. It was so convenient to explore the area, and I loved that I could easily walk to all the best spots.

All in all, this place is a hidden gem. The warm, inviting atmosphere and the personal touches made it feel like coming home again. With the new management at the helm, I’m certain this place will continue to thrive. Can’t wait to return!

We booked 5/6 rooms for us, friends and family to stay for our sons wedding in Kiama, and it was fantastic!! Firstly, Sylvia could not have been more responsive with correspondence; second she was so flexible' third, it was such great value even though it was more expensive than we would normally pay, but I decided for an event like our son's wedding, I was not staying in a motel, so we chose the honeymoon suite! Fourth, the accomadation itself was stunningly gorgeous in terms of decor, facilities, comfort and everything it offered. Fifth the location was so convenient, a short walk to the centre of town, cafes, parks, beach, lighthouse and the Pavilion where the reception was. Sixth, the verandas and garden area were also beautiful and a lovely place to sit. Seventh, they were able to accomadate us for an extra night at very short notice and finally, it was perfect for a group of people as we all had our own space, bathroom and kitchen area to make a cup of tea in the middle of the night or watch the World Cup without disturbing anyone !!!! I would go back here any day....it was a fantastic weekend and the accomadation just helped make it even...

I cannot recommend this beautiful property enough. It has so many positives to list. We stayed for my sister’s small wedding. They were going to marry on Kendall’s beach but the weather had other ideas. Sylvia was amazing in implementing an alternative plan. We could have the ceremony in the beautiful Unit 6 which has lovely vaulted ceilings and lover’s seat or, if we were lucky enough, the picturesque garden. Luckily the rain held off and the ceremony was perfect in the garden. There were only 7 of us and the setting fitted that size occasion. We had champagne on the sun-filled verandah before heading off for a celebratory dinner. The location is in walking distance to the town’s lovely coffee shops, restaurants, fashion and gift stores.
