Hindmarsh Park — Attraction in Kiama

Our family has a long history of enjoyable times in Hindmarsh Park. On the main Street in Kiama, with cafes and icecream shops opposite. Choice of shade or open areas. Also a choice of a few picnic tables or plonking down on the grass. The slope down from the street (northerly aspect) is perfect for lazing back and enjoying the ambience. Public toilets (disabled accessible) are nearby beside the street, as is a drinking water station. Good kids playground. Amazing experience for the kids. Brand new playground equipment. Well set out. Plenty of room and entertainment for kids. Undercover seating with BBQ facilities.. Setting also has the new Pavilion stage set amongst the famous Kiama Figs with the Black Beach backdrop and street lined with Norfolk Pine. With plenty of cafes and shops close to the park. New park with something for every age ~ Younger kids: sand pit with diggers, small concrete slide, trampoline, swings, water-play, wood logs for climbing, rope climbs close to the ground.
