KFC Queanbeyan — Restaurant in New South Wales

Visiting this KFC is less about food and more about spiritual growth. Each visit provides a unique test of patience, expectation management, and quiet resignation. Orders are rarely correct, and the mistakes never fall in my favour. Missing items are a frequent occurrence.

On my most recent visit, I arrived at the drive-through well before the cars behind me, only to watch them served first. You might think this would cause frustration, but I found the unexpected wait a valuable opportunity for quiet reflection—mostly about my dietary choices and the strange twists of fate that led me there.

The food, when it finally arrived, was satisfactory but overpriced. For the amount you pay, one might expect accuracy—or perhaps even the occasional bonus. Instead, you receive a gentle reminder that expectations are best kept low.

I'd rate it three stars. Not for the quality of the food or service, but for the character building experience...

Consistently dirty eating area. I have known this KFC for many years and it has improved little in cleanliness or service efficiency despite having had some cosmetic facelifts over time. When I visited with my family recently it was difficult to find a seating area that was sufficiently clean to seat ourselves. Eventually chose the least dirty seating area. The floor had an unpleasant slippery greasy coating that covered most of the floor area. The meal was lukewarm, the chips were oversalted (as usual) and quite limp. Each time I (occasionally) visit this KFC it reminds again why I shouldn't waste my money there. There appears to be very little concern about customer satisfaction. While you can hardly expect fine dining at a fast food business such as this, the reality is that Macca's (McDonalds) next door and Red Rooster just up the road, do a much better job with food quality and...

Pathetic customer service from one of your staff (of Caucasian background) tonight (11/4)at your drive-thru(serving window) at around 815pm. I kindly apologized and requested to exchange sauces and getting rolled eyes coupled with stubbornness and disgusting behavior in return is absolutely appalling. This staff that served us at your 2nd window at approx. 815pm almost threw the sauces at us and forcefully closed the window (with a bang). As a family moving down here from Sydney, this is the worst ever KFC we've ever been to. Plse teach your younger staff proper customer service because courtesy and kindness go a long way.
