Went there for breakfast this morning- 5 adults and 3 toddlers. We had three separate orders on the same table. When some of the food started coming out, they mixed our orders up such as getting the eggs wrong and putting in extra hashbrown and mushroom on the order that didn’t ask for it but not having roasted tomatoes on the order which paid extra for the extra tomatoes. We were confused on which order was which so we asked the waitress to confirm it and said they may have mixed up our orders. The waitress apologised and said she will fix it up. it was still nice at that point. Then a few minutes later, just like the other reviewer said, the cook came out and pretty much yelled at us showing us the order piece of paper and saying wasnt it what we ordered? We said yes, the item is correct, however the eggs were wrong and the person who paid extra didnt get what she paid for but the person who didn’t pay extra got things she didn’t ask for (and it wasnt even something we could swap between ourselves because they were different items). He then pointed to the piece of paper and yelled “look what it reads, isn’t this what is written on there? So I am right and you were wrong”. Then he stormed off. We were abit shocked because we were very calm the whole time and the immaturity and behaviour displayed was unbelievable. I think a friend of mine went inside and said something because later the manager/supervisor applogised. So after all that, they still got the rest of our orders mixed up but we couldn’t be bothered telling them anymore. So between 8 items (5 adult meals and 3 kid meals), they only got 3 items (2 adult and 1 kid) right and stuffed up everything else. Never going back there again. We understand mistakes can happen and be understanding about it but cannot tolerate such rudeness. Such person will never become a head chef with that type...

The 4 H's of hospitality. Horrible staff, horrible service, horrible atmosphere and horrible seating arrangements. Booked for 12 people. On the day the seats on the inside were not reserved as asked and confirmed. Got told they were full and to sit outside in the cold rain and wind (mind you we were there for a 70 year olds birthday! Not ideal to put an elderly person in the cold outside). When we asked to have our proper reserved area that we booked ahead, we got told there was nothing they could do. After politely asking for maybe a better response to the problem an area was finally cleared. The area was too small with inadequate seating. After all that time wasted we decided to just leave but first requested for the managers name and number. The staff resisted giving us the number and name and instead started to swear and abuse us. On our way out they slammed the door on us. We were only there for a birthday breakfast that we booked 1 week ahead, we were polite and waited patiently and all we asked was for a nice room and the managers name and number however we were shouted at, sweared at and treated with no respect. I will have to 1 star for horrible staff, horrible service, horrible atmosphere and horrible seating! Didn't even get to taste the food but if the staff are like this I have little hope for the food.

(Disclaimer: I do not allow for this post/review to be deleted. I have a feeling many negative reviews have been deleted before. As there is no way this cafe should be rated so highly. I will keep record of this post to make...

Who would believe that QBN has a hidden gem when it comes to food and in particular, the art of wood fried pizza. Yes folks, wood-fried to perfection with just the right amount of toppings and tomato sauce. Not a pizza fan? No worries mate! Always ready to surprise, the chef there can cook a mean burger that rests on two perfect rustic style bread that is made in house and is perfect example of what a last meal should be. Considering that we have dined there quite few tines and on few occasions had an family lunch too, it really didn't took me a while to write an review just because the baklava and coffee really took the proverbial icing on the cake when this establishment is considered. Yes, i love my wood-fried pizza and other members of my family love the burgers, therefore i invite you to come over and indulge your tastebuds too. PS. The owners are of Arabic origins which can only mean one thing. Warm welcome, good food and smile that is a mile long. Also, it is a little known fact that the owners were amongst the first ones in QBN to lend a helping hand and offer food, toiletries, water and other non-perishable, long use-by date items to the most vulnerable members of our community. That fact alone warrants a visit for a coffee and that...

Had a delightful brunch out in the garden area on a lovely spring day Sept 2023 in the back garden area. There was plenty of staff to deliver food (although young ones, who didn't wipe down our table after someone else had left) So, although it a busy day, the food came out to us in a fair time. The serving size was good and the food was nice. A good choice of breakfast options and plenty of yummy looking cakes, too. We had a big breakfast, eggs Benny with salmon, scrambled eggs and pancakes with apple crumble and icecream (a huge size!) And delicious fresh juices. $10 a bit pricey, but a big size in a jar glass. And very fresh. There's a small play area for littlies. A great spot for every demographic. There is also 2 small rooms inside, with books, if the weather is inclement. They had lit up the smokey pizza oven which smelt a bit, but the wind pushed it away. But if you were sitting close to it, it may have been a problem for a short while? Overall, I'd definitely go again! Top spot in Qbyn.

Beautiful little cafe conveniently placed with a cute little garden, very dog friendly and with a child playground attached for families. We ate outside even though it was a bit chilly that morning, and the pop-up gazebo stopped the leaves from the trees from falling in my coffee. :) The big breakfast was exactly that, and my eggs benny was cooked perfectly. We could tell it had been prepared fresh and it arrived VERY quickly. My only feedback for improvement would be to please heat the plates before serving, especially in winter. Everything was a bit cold when it was delivered to the table, which detracted slightly from our enjoyment of an otherwise perfect brekky.

Quaint little café with history. The meals and service were average for a Sunday breakfast; the tables were bare and looked to be newly cut marine ply exposed and uncovered. I’m unsure if this was the look they were going for or if it was just a poor and tacky look. The biggest no-no for any café is not wilting the spinach. Again, we have eaten at a café that likes to put raw, cold spinach on your plate that is uneatable. Won’t be rushing back. The hype and reviews did not do it justice for me. But if you are looking for that average breakfast that doesn’t offer you wow. This place will suffice.
