DONT EAT HERE WORSE SERVICE AND FOOD, CLUB HAS A POLICY ON NOT REFUNDING IF FOOD ISNT RIGHT!!!
How disrespectful and disgusting myself and my partner was treating tonight as member of Diggers The Entrance, We tried to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Outside In Kitchen Cafe and were treated to the worst service possible.
On complaining to the supervisor on duty, she took our complaint and issues, but here is where the issue got complicated and ridiculous, she was a bit happy to refund us for the lamb cultets meal after my had shown her the oil that was coming out of the lamb cutlets and the lumpy mash potato but not the garlic bread because I had eaten part of a piece, she said that she was quite happy to make another one but we declined saying that I had already eaten my meal already and if it was anything like the last one then definitely no, she stated that it was club policy because I had eaten a slice they couldn’t refund me, we were bemused and said we wanted to speak to manager on duty, the manager on duty arrived and also listen to our complaint and issue, he also stated the same as the supervisor on duty that it is club policy not to refund on if it a slice has been eaten.
I can’t believe that a club like this can treat a member like that, you wonder why you are offering $2.95 HALF PRICE MEMBERSHIP and can’t members in when you treat them like that and have stupid policies like that.
My partner tried her meal and found it disgusting… a refund was given on that meal, yet we tried a piece of the of the non existing garlic that was on the garlic focaccia and found that it was not up to the standard it should have been on tasting it and closer examination of the other pieces after we had a piece… a refund wasn’t given…… this seems to be contradicting considering both meals had a little piece tried from each of them, but it seem their is different rules and policies for everything.
What makes it even worse you could even do a refund on a $7.50 piece of garlic focaccia but yet find the money to build those extensions to the club and the brand new park….hmmmmm.
Any other club In Sydney or NSW would have given a full refund no questions ask and also given a complementary meal as a replacement to keep the customer happy and to return back, obviously this club needs a steep learning kerb in CUSTOMER SERVICE 101
This basically ruined what should have been a good night for us to celebrate together.
Let’s just see if a member of the board or someone higher up then the manager on duty on Friday night 18th August with have the decency to contact me to resolve this...
Read moreVisited the restaurant for dinner with 6 family members last night. Contemplated the buffet but the room looked dirty & the food looked worse. The restaurant was by no means busy yet our meals took forever to arrive and our order was hardly complicated as 3 of the meals were kids dinners and all the same. The staff person taking our order didn't seem to understand that kids drinks were 'complementary' as per the menu. She insisted we had to be charged even though I explained & showed her the menu twice. She kept saying ' but my screen can't do that' & became quite annoyed with me as if it was my fault! After I explained what it meant she huffily gave me the drinks, as I picked up one of the cups (paper) it leaked all over me and The floor, this also annoyed her even though it was me it leaked on. Hate to see her when it's busy. The food was actually disgusting, not quite cold but barely warm. Broccoli was on 4 of our dishes & it was boiled to death-even by nursing home standards. As everyone knows, few things smell as bad as stewed broccoli so that didn't help our appetites. I ordered a small roast ( was charged for a large but couldn't stand another discussion with the ordering staff so let it go). Now we all pretty much know what to expect from a Club roast dinner, nothing flash but usually a good offering of veges & a decent gravy but this was inedible. It said it was beef but I have my doubts, one teeny tiny new potato that looked & tasted like it was cooked the week prior. The gravy had fat globules floating on it, so awful. One of our group had mashed potato with his meal & I've really never seen mash like it- cold, dry, hard & covered half the plate, must have been trying to give it away! Not one of our meals was decent let alone enjoyable. My son was paying for all of us all as a surprise & I felt so sorry for him as it was a miserable dining experience. Our meal was over $150 & not worth one cent of it. To top it off no-one came near us to clear away the dishes, we were left to sit with the foul smelling broccoli until I cleared the table myself, when I noticed other tables still dirty (yes with their stewed broccoli still on plates uneaten). Needless to say we will never venture there to eat again, McDonald's would have been preferable. I recommend the CEO & whomever is running the dining areas go and try eating at 1 different club per month, when you find a great one copy whatever they're doing. You might also like to get the cleaners to clean ALL of the club, that might help. The best thing about the night was the door staff who helped with my umbrella, sign in etc, they were great. I have never in my life been disappointed enough with a dining experience to leave a review but I just couldn't let this slide, hopefully the powers that be take my comments on board & do whatever is necessary to fix this venue, as the saying goes... Word of mouth can be your best or worst advertising & I couldn't recommend this club to...
Read moreThe only good thing was the actual facility. Anyways, firstly the customer service wasn't all that great. The lady who was serving us made it obvious she didn't want to be there and made us feel so bad. When the food came, half of it was not edible. I'm not extremely picky neither have critical tastebuds but we literally couldn't eat it. What's even more upsetting is the fact that the food took 45 minutes to come out. So after waiting that long, we couldn't even eat the food. Firstly, the kids' pasta literally looked like dog food (Photo below). It's so obvious that it came straight out of a can. The kids' nuggets were ok because you can't really go wrong with that. Then the kids' cheeseburger was so dry and practically burnt. Was just cheese with what tasted like sand. The Thai Beef Salad- can you even call it that? It didn't look OR taste like any thai beef salad I've ever had. The meat was so tangy and weird. And there were these weird white crispy noodle thingos that made up 1/2 the meal. (Picture attached), There was basically more crispy noodle thingos than the actual meat and salad combined. Definitely not worth the nearly $30 we paid for. The Garlic Focaccia was actually not bad BUT we paid almost $8 for a tiny little roll. Definitely not worth the money. Chicken Parmi- Probably the most edible thing on the menu. BUT the salad dressing that came with it was an absolute turn off. It literally smelled like sprite mixed with vinegar. So we either had to have plain salad or salad covered in this mixture my little sister could've made.
However, this is just my experience... there are many who gave this place a 5...
