Upstairs buffet: the staff have always been exceptionally friendly and approachable here. It is a popular place so it does get quite busy. Because of this, it can be hard to navigate the closely placed tables and slim walk ways. I personally think the pricing is good - I always eat my fair share of the cost. With this in mind, I often find the food to be a bit less that average as most do not stay fresh for long. When it is fresh and has just come out of the kitchen, it is quite nice. There is always a good variety of food and there is something for everyone. I believe it is one of the best places to go with a family of picky eaters or different wants.
Downstairs: staff again are always friendly and approachable. It's never been too busy down there whilst I've been there. It's a good place to sit at the pokies by yourself. I've also been for bingo which was a relaxing experience, although people can become too competitive. I have personally won coupons for drinks and food from the cafe.    Read moreWORST restaurant in Tamworth. Thought we would try their smorgasbord for lunch. Got there 15 mins after opening and all the food was stone coldđĄ and not much food in the trays. I understand being a weekday they might not cook as much as they may not be busy, but at least have it hot. No salads were available and dessert was a choice of 2 cakes , cut about a cm square , jelly or a few pieces of watermelon or rock melon. Considering how much they charged its a total rip off!!! When I complained about it being cold the girl said no, hot see and waved her hand over the food. I said no, you try it, its cold. She then said dont put too much on plate because it goes cold. I dont think 6 pieces of chicken 1/2 a spoonful of rice, a mini spring roll and some prawn crackers are over filling my plate. I WILL NEVER EAT...
Read moreI've been coming here for 2 years and the food has progressively got worse, we walked in and there was a family complaining at the front desk. We should have taken the hint and turned around. Tonight the food on show, you wouldn't allow the homeless to eat, and i reckon there dogs would have turned their nose up. Pork chops that looked several days old, they matched the sausages that were shrivelled to hardness, the prawns were getting old, were clearly frozen for 6 months , were soggy and looked gross. The Chinese was almost empty and looked to have been there since yesterday. Old mate at the counter did say if there was anything that needed to be topped up yell out, but that was everything. Sorry Servies, but we...
