Fantastic park which is big enough for big kids - including adults! Multiple giant slippery slides which are so massive you have to CLIMB to get up there! Flying foxes which were great fun, lots of other things to climb and play on, and heaps of stuff for the littlies too. Many areas are undercover, and there is heaps of room for lots of people at once. The digger in the sand was awesome, and the musical instruments were interesting as well. There is also a cafe/kiosk for when you get thirsty or hungry, but drinking water available for free from a bubbler. I didn't even realise that I missed the splash pad and the bike course, so will have to go back again for today! We went during the middle of a school day so not too many people, but probably pretty busy after school and on weekends. The adjoining park is quite large and leafy too, would be good...
Read moreReally enjoyed our visit here. Has been several years since we had the opportunity to walk down this way on our trip to Tamworth. This was definitely a nice surprise. Not sure if the Cafe is doing as well as it could according to local reports but didn't get the time to sit and make our own decisions on this though. Beautiful spot all the same and striking distance to Peel St to pick up whatever other foods for a picnic.
Fabulous venue for the kids to explore outdoor activities. Such a range to experience. Even an outdoor activity section to use body weight equipment to improve your fitness levels. So good. Kids could spend a good few hours here as the parents wanted to BBQ or just relax. Plenty of man made shade and trees. A bit of history at the other end of the park with more clean public toilets...

Seating, outdoor barbeques, small toddler play areas, big kid play areas, toilets, outdoor bluetooth speakers, water splash pad, bike/scooter path, gym equipment, and in the middle Hopscotch cafe for all your food or drink needs.
