Terrible experience dining here. A few issues and one positive. Which is the one star. The coffee and ice coffees were nice. We ordered brunch and waited 40 minutes for our food. Ordered 2x eggs Benedict and 1 steak sandwich. Had the steak sandwich and one eggs Benedict sitting on the pass for that long they were almost cold when the waitress finally realised they were there. Now to the main issue - the rude staff , who don't give a damn and a second eggs Benedict that was served with a white aioli. Obviously very different to the yellow hollandaise sauce that it was meant to have. I Took it over to the counter to advise that the sauce was not right and my complaint was taken very poorly. I was greeted with 2 of the most rudest waitresses/ staff I have ever come across. One just looked at me like I was not even speaking. No acknowledgment of what I had just said while a man - maybe owner I am not sure but who admitted it was the aoli sauce. Then another waitress who supposedly put the sauce on looked at me and said quote * I put the sauces on both of the plates from the same bottle..I found this pretty odd and said it is clearly 2 different colours and sauces and tastes completely different. To then be told a second time that they were put on by her from the same bottle.??? At this point I was pretty annoyed. Was I just being told I was lying without being told I was lying?? No apology at all for the obvious error and no offer to fix up . The man just laughed as I said your waitress has just lied to my face about the aoli sauce and hollandaise sauce coming out of the same bottle. Still no apology. I am just shocked by the rudeness and lack of ownership of the error. I asked for a refund as I was not prepared to wait another 40 minutes and absolutely appalled by the Rudeness and lack of customer service. Came here with my friends, waited out side the place to be seated, no one acknowledged us for about 20 minutes. We asked for a table of 6, they just put an extra two chairs around a 4 seater table making it difficult for us to eat our meal. Poor attitude from the waiter and not to mention the chewing of the gum in our face by the order taker. Ordered smash avo no eggs add halloumi & hashbrown. My halloumi wasn’t cooked, my avo had no feta as displayed on the menu (one of the main reasons why i ordered it). They dumped a heap of maple syrup on top my “maple bacon”. Asked for it to be remade and ensure that the feta was on there and the halloumi to be re made. I purposely left a half eaten piece on my plate to see if they would bother to re make it. Came back to the table, they just dumped the hard feta on top, chucked me halloumi back on the pan (tasted like pour oil) and my half eaten piece of halloumi was still on my plate. Quite disappointing, won't be back. Menu was quite limited, although the options sounded nice. Meals seemed reasonably priced, but when they arrived they were very small, so they were actually expensive for what we got. Lunch meal sizes were what you would typically expect for an entree. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Drinks were small and expensive, but comparable to most coffee shops. Venue was clean, but tables were very small, and even overheard other customers saying the same thing. Staff were helpful, albeit a bit unknowledgable, and 2 of our meals didn't come out right (eg ordered a wrap with cheese and ham, it instead came out toasted and with tomato on it as well).
