Pretty disappointing service. Ordered a rascal and vegan cheeseburger and a share tots. Food comes out and they bring out a plate of chips. Explained that we ordered tots not chips but because the order taker put down chips they did not seem to believe that we had actually ordered tots, which was the whole point of choosing rascals in the first place. Made us buy for a new plate of tots despite me literally handing the plate of chips back to the front counter. As a hospo worker myself, I understand it’s frustrating when you make an order and it is incorrect on the receipt but c’mon that’s just very poor customer service. Not to mention that we received a vegan rascal rather than the vegan cheeseburger that was ordered but didn’t want to make a fuss at this point given that I already had to pay extra just to get the correct order. Read moreWas a bit skeptical of the new Rascal at first thinking it wouldn't be as good as the King Street one. My partner and I have ordered from Charlestown for several months now and have been proven wrong. Customer service is always friendly.
Today, we ordered and paid for 2 Dirty Rascals online and the estimated pickup time was 5:07pm. We ran about 15 minutes late, but the girl said there would be an extra 5 minute wait - for whatever reason, I don't know. But as soon as the order was finished, she threw in complimentary fries to say they were very sorry for the wait, which I thought was an extremely kind gesture.
Shout-out to the chef/s who were on tonight (Tuesday 9.02.2021), whoever made our burgers gets the Siskel & Ebert approval - two thumbs up! 👍👍 I could have waited another 20 or so minutes and still end up satisfied at the end of the day....
Read moreI’ve had multiple issues with Rascals at Charlestown. They’ve just cancelled my order 10 minutes after they closed and now it is too late to order elsewhere. Previously they have messed up an order and sent me chicken wings instead of tenders and asked me to drive out to the store to pick up a second order after they wish to correct it due to the app malfunctioning and on arrival to the store, they caught up to say that they were cancelling the order.
I can see from the app recently, that the same error with the ordering system has still not been fixed. We’re all pretty frustrated now as we can’t order in. Thanks to rascals Charlestown.
