Treat to get my daughter McDonald’s for dinner as a reward last night.. ordered bundle for 2. Drinks handed to us without a word said, then an open bag handed to us and staff member walked off. We looked in the bag because we didn’t know if that was it, if more coming etc. She came back to the window and I said we were checking that was it because she hadn’t said anything. With a smile on her face but a complete attitude in her tone she said ‘well I’m by myself up here and there’s 6 cars behind you’. Ummm ok. So you can’t speak to us? Or close the bag or fill the fries more than half way?!
We stopped in the carpark because I had a bad feeling the order would be a mess. We opened the quarter pounders. No pickles and no onions. Hate that! They’ll be boring and tasteless now. Opened cheeseburgers. No pickles. 4 burgers that didn’t get pickles and 2 without onion. What’s the big deal? Well just meat and cheese is not what we ordered or paid for and they don’t taste like quarter pounder and cheeseburgers without it.
So I drove back around. Told the person on speaker. She told me to drive to last window. There, another staff member went to hand us someone else’s order. I told her AGAIN that we had the burgers missing ingredients. She said she would get a manager. Told him 3rd person now! We just wanted all the ingredients on the food. He asked to take the bag which is fine but then proceeded to add 1 pickle slice to each, completely missed onions on a burger still, and 1 of the boxes just had onions in the box, not even on the burger. We did get hot fresh fries tho.
Maccas is not cheap these days. Almost $30 for an open bag with everything just thrown in and half done. Being understaffed is no excuse. Tho I find her initial ‘I’m by myself up here’ to be bs. Customers must get what they ordered, they must be spoken to at a minimum of ‘thank you’ and not handed a...
Read moreMy Carer, Leanne and I went there for our lunch, last week on Tuesday 5th February 2019. It always annoys me when a Diner or Restaurant does not provide enough parking lots for vehicles transporting people that have a disability. I will always mark down for this inability to provide parking spots for a disabled person/s. We are people too you know, something has just gone wrong in their past and we can do nothing about that, we just have to live with it. Well I am living with mine. I don't care about what you may think about what's important to me. It's important to me that business owners must provide more parking spaces for disabled persons. Food today served up to our table, fairly promptly yet there were persons not getting there orders delivered to their tables. I noted an issue here! These were the orders placed at the new customer piloted menu to order and pay up front, they were getting a lower level of service than others. Their Order's were being called from the counter by number to go up a pick it up. There we are.... order at the Counter via a person who plugs it into the system and when it's ready, they bring it out to you. Marked Up for that. I must come clean here and say that I will only go to a cashier in the shops. I refuse to use an automated bandit, I want a person to have a job not something that doesn't think. I have always thought that way. It improves the job reports of a Government. My best way is to say why is your company done so well, more profits for having robiotics implemented, higher tax rate, more people; lower tax rate. This may be an answer to some of problems with insufficient staff. We can't retask a robot in your crew but you can retask a person in your business -...
Read moreClean and fast hot food served inside but note to the parents of older, bigger children that the kids playground was designed to better suit small children and one of the primary aged girls with me could not play because she was too big, even though she was within the recommended range of ages and I can easily imagine she not only felt left out but, it also could have encouraged her to be body aware and feel nostalgia for being a child that used to be able play. All before she actually is too old.
This playground is way under the usually large sturdy standard size that has been consistent of Maccas/McDonald's playgrounds over the years and I feel needs pointing out due to the decrease of those values in this playground.
... humorously though the playground was so confusing to navigate, that the other 2 girls with me, climbed all the way to the top and then, disappointed, climbed back down again complaining about there being "no slide"...I too was shocked and it wasn't until we left to go home and looked up at the playground from the outside that we all saw the giant slide on the side, which we all missed while we were inside playground! So we had a good laugh at ourselves, enjoyed the food and...
