Morpeth Cottage Bakehouse — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Massive choice on the menu. So many different choices across both sweet and savoury, and then pancakes or waffles within the sweet stuff. Really tasty but honestly, way over the top with the cream on a couple of the sweet choices. It was a small mountain of cream on top and, those that had thst option left a large % of it on the plate. Coffee is a little average. Not much body to, fairly watery. I’ve been spending a little bit of time in Morpeth and I’ve come across the bakehouse. I quite enjoy the mushroom pies. They do lots of other pies sausage rolls, vanilla slices, cakes bread and I’ve tried a range of different products and it’s been great. They treated me really well. They always got the smile on their face and they always working hard. I enjoy going in there because it’s a great atmosphere and all the food smells really nice if you’re coming into Morpeth look up the bakehouse and give it a try. I highly recommend it thank you...

This little gem of a Bakery is where the portion sizes of the cakes are exceptionally generous, flavours are equally generous too. Selection is excellent. Pies cakes fresh bread and anything else bad for your health is catered to here, don't be in a hurry to leave my Latte was excellent too. Lovely staff.
