Absolutely horrible service. Soy latte was barely drinkable. Prices are not listed, and then you realise why. I rarely give a one star, but this place deserves it. They need to make sure their staff have manners and show some decency. I have given this shop a second chance, and they failed dismally. Will not be coming here again, and I hope they either retrain their staff and start listing prices ... or that somebody buys the place and runs it properly. By the way, I have zero problems with paying for decency.

Netty. Was. Here. You’ll be spoiled for choices here at the deli. Salads, Sandwiches, Savoury and Sweets. Cheeses & Deli meats, plus a pleather of local jellies, jams and condiments. Wow! Delicious lunch I took down to eat in the park.

Service was disgraceful. Next level rude. Gobsmacked. Agumentative staff. These people need psychological behavioural support, it's well beyond lack of customer service skills training.

I ordered a premade toastie. I was asked if there was anything else. Yes I said. Put the toastie on now I'll look around n come back to pay for everything at once if thats ok. Everything looked so yumi.

The cashier already seemed to have her nose out of joint. Not engaged much nor seemingly too please with my directive to put the toastie on. I'm not too sure, grunts and not responding with words make it hard to know.

I returned with a drink and joyfully said how gorgeous the tarts looked that I couldn't leave town without buying a few. She still didn't seem too keen to engage with me or use words so I just listed the ones I wanted. Still appearing pretty disinterested I had to repeate what I wanted several times. I gave up on trying to get any connection n just paid.

Asking where the toilet was while I waited for the toastie to cook. This seemed to push her over the edge, vaguely describing two in different directions in places only a local would know.

I set off none the wiser. She yelled at me to take my box of tarts from the counter. I said I didn't fancy taking it to a public toilet.

On returning I heard another staff member ask if a toastie was on. Several times to the cashier. Poor communication with each other never mind the customers. I then asked several times if that was mine yet to go on. Neither answered me. I looked at the third women for an answer. As if whats going on do you know.

The cashier then seemed more pissed if that was possible, saying it was on while the the other women said she had it n it wasn't. This went on for a while. I was unable to get clarity to my question.

I said just if it's not on I'll just get a refund. At this point thinking to myself I'd rather consume a can of dog food for lunch than anything these people were offering. I'd rather lost my appetite and the joy I had on entering the deli.

That all seemed a bit too much for the cashier. I said I wasn't happy with the service just to refund the lot to a women that seemed to be the boss. The cashier then started getting argumentative and defensive until the other women stepped in to refund me. Implying I'm impatient and it would only be 2mins etc etc

I had to confess it's not the wait for a toastie. It's been the service from start to finish. I thought, case in point with the attitude at me once more for seeking clarity on my order.

Every single interaction with the cashier was difficult.

At that she kept on the attack. I've never seen anything so appauling in customer service. Talking with the bossing saying yelling at me to take my food off the count for instance, not ok. Then, another staff member then piped up justifying, defending the cashier, and making excuses.

The boss had told both of them several times to pipe down. But they couldn't help themselves. Mouthy rude. I'm gobsmacked. Not even listening to their boss. Like two feral animals. It was disguisting.

Fiinally one spat "We've been busy". I looked at the boss. How was I to know you've been busy and is it relevant. I just came in for a toastie.

I was friendly easy knew what I wanted. Should I be treated like this as a customer because they've had a busy day. The shop was empty when I was there. I'd rather spend my $50 where people value goodness & connection. Food tastes so much better garnished with kindness.

The cashier, still as the boss served me was arcing up. I had to tell her to stop talking n being argumentative, repeatedly, I'm not engaging in it, while I waited for the efpos to be processed. đŸ€ŻđŸ€ŻđŸ€Ż

Disappointing on Christmas Eve I opened the catering containers and the wrong salad which I confirmed twice was given to me. I ordered a Caesar and was given a coleslaw? Even though the staff handed me a seperate container with croutons? I paid top dollar for these salads $50 for the family salads x 2 and spent over $100 ! Service was lacking and I was told twice “I’ll just get you to move over” so the staff member could take money from another customer I was told to wait as they couldn’t find my salads and were looking for them even though I was told to arrive at 9am. Maddy on the phone had lovely service and was so helpful the day before and I was so appreciative of her help and organising the salads for me she mentioned she wasn’t going to be present the following day but will take notes. Sadly instore the service was not so lovely. Disappointing I have not had a response still from the business and discussion of the refund and difference coleslaw for what I actually paid which was the Caesar. I tried to support local businesses for Christmas but sadly I regret going to this deli store. Service needs improvement, I so understand Christmas is a busy time but when you are paying top dollar you do expect a little better service and the right salads you pay for especially for a function and when you had pre...

Toasties were horrible. I was going to pass since it wasn’t freshly made to order but sat inside a glass display for god know how long but I wanted a quick lunch. Then I watched them microwave it first then I guess toast it. By the time I got it and started eating in the car which wasn’t even a minute walk, it was soggy. Prices aren’t shown either so I blindly paid $15 for a cheese, tomato and red onion toastie that was soggy and didn’t have the best taste. I would say not worth going for a sandwich/toastie, can’t say much about anything else since I didn’t have it. Lady who served me was...
