Nguyen Bakery & Cakes — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Really disappointed in my experience today. Purchased a dry and flavorless pie at the premium price of $5.50 But was slogged a 30c surcharge on top just for using eftpos. (Credit card surcharge on top too) I have had nicer home brand pies from a budget supermarket. The name of the place should be changed also as I did not see any cakes on display and there was an extremely limited variety of well anything on offer. The Asian staff member who i dealt with obviously had a bit of an attitude, judging with the way she greeted me and overall I won't be back nor would I even recommend the business to anyone. The atmosphere was bleak and uninviting and I really do not know how they manage to stay...

The 2 girls I spoke to came across as Lazy I went in at 3.09pm I thought that the closing time was at 4pm (and it was according to the sign and online) all I wanted to do was order a cake for the 23rd of Feb and I got told that they closed in 10 minutes and that it takes awhile to order a cake and I should call and order and when I said I want to show what kinda cake I wanted they told me they only did basic cakes and they just Write happy birthday on them.. I didn't want anything to difficult all I wanted was a purple and blue 1st birthday cake but that wasn't basic enough. I was really disappointed as I've been going there for birthday...
