We didn't know what to expect, because on Tuesday the floor turned out be booked by the yoga class. They ended their lessons at 7:30 and that time the tables and chairs were placed again and the restaurant was opened too. But only for a set-menu with reservation by phone. It was lovely. The deep-fried pea-thingies were yummie and the cook came by with a large pan to fill our plates again. Budget friendly, funny and good. We will return soon.

Not so many vegan options as advertised. Dosa available only on Sundays. Roasted potatoes were really good but spocy too. Mango lassy, even though asked to be vegan, was brought on cow's milk. No respect for food intolerances or allergies. Curry and all other food is so spicy, our 5yo boy could eat only plain rice, papadooms and browny.

Amazing food for a really good price, if you want to try some vegetarian dishes for the first time this is the place to do it. The plate is massive and full of flavor definitely feeling satisfied, I even got a takeaway meal for lunch

I had previously had a very good view of the Bhatki Tree, but last night I came in and told staff I'm allergic to soy and they told me I could eat a curry they had. While eating I found a whole piece of tofu in my food (which I bit into) & when my friend told the staff they came over to the table and stood over me while the man working there told me that it was not tofu in my food (trying to say I was lying). When he saw the tofu he admitted it was tofu, he offered no apology and said "it mustve just gotten in there, if it's that much of an issue you shouldn't come here" - while I understand mistakes happen, I was not offered any solution to the problem- a partial refund, or anything. The lady working there was very apologetic and kind but the man just talked over her and blamed me & didn't say sorry once. I was made to look like the bad person when all I did was try to let them know that I had eaten something I am allergic to. I don't recommend the bhatki tree if you have dietary requirements or if you expect good customer service, especially from the rude man who was...

I had poor experience with this place. We ordered Dosa and a combination meal. The Dosa was under cooked and soggy with oil. The plate meal option lacked seasoning. We had a six month old baby with us. They provided us a baby seat which was dirty with stale food stuck on it. The worst part was the service. My baby started crying and the cook came rushing out of the kitchen and yelled at my wife telling her to make her quiet or take her out. The people working here are probably volunteers who don't understand how to behave with customers. I told the server that I wasn't happy with the way my wife was treated but they simply didn't care. We received No apology but apathy and a smirk. Their nonchalance was shocking.

The quality of food and service being so poor, I will never be...

My brother wanted us to go here. I've often enjoyed hare krishna restaurants. I like the restaurant itself - though I think it would be nicer with ceiling fans and less obtrusive music. Bathroom is kept nice is lovely smelling soap. I ordered what was labelled Dahl, rice and a vegetable stew and roti. The Dahl was more thin lentil broth - and so salty I'm sure the ocean has less salt in it - I couldn't have it. The vegetable stew was overcooked with a peppery bite but otherwise OK.

I had a rose frosted cake otherwise and that was nice. I think the cooks here really need to learn a pinch of salt at a time -...
