As I work in Wallsend, this little coffee shop is the highlight of my working day. The staff are friendly and are genuinely happy to see you! A wonderful (and tempting) selection of pastries, cookies and yummy bagels; however I cannot resist their toastie. The toastie is TO DIE FOR - thick slices of ham, gooey cheese and tomato relish... mmmmm...
Oh, and the coffee!! Let's not forget about their perfectly roasted beans and have not yet had a bitter brew - my cappuccino is always top-notch. You also get a 50 cent discount for using a keep cup.

   Read moreWe happened upon this location while passing by after an appointment nearby, and just had to pop in. The playful decor caught my eye, and there was a vibrant crowd of people around enjoying their lovely coffee (always a wonderful sign at these kinds of small hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, some of the best coffee I've ever had has come from these sorts of places).
