A poor way to spend a Sunday brunch. I don't like giving bad reviews however on this occasion it is warranted. We arrived on a Sunday and found the service to be non existent. We ordered the quiche and a burger and were very disappointed by the quality and resulting service. The quiche which looked good in the display appeared to have then been microwaved but still managed to come to the table very cold in the centre. On handing it back to the barista (no courtesy check by waitstaff) and stating it was cold he just grabbed the plate and walked off to the kitchen, some five minutes later the same quiche was returned and looked like it had been put back into the microwave for the entire time and was now just a soggy curdled mess. As for the $20 burger it came very raw which would have been ok if I had requested it that way (but I didn't) and on trying to eat the burger it just oozed oil and fell apart in a wet mess. On leaving the cafe the two ladies next to us just received their deep fried seafood which looked like it had also been fried to an inch of its life. Maybe I just visited when they were having a bad day - maybe not, to it just felt like no staff...

Customer service very rude at till. Bec who is sadly the manager have been unacceptably rude. When I asked for gluten free bread with my sandwich her response was rudely:" You know that's going to be small right. " as if I should know, no I do not know and she could have stated it way differently. When I then asked to have it without bread she rolled her eyes and pierced her lips and said:" Yeah okay I will do it without bread. " as if it is going to be an extreme effort not putting my food on bread. I asked if the aioli has dairy in it and instead of trying to find out or answering my question she said again rudely " It does have dairy because there's cheese on it" after I already said no cheese and then had to state it again. Her customer service was completely unacceptable for a restaurant, with no nice mannerism from the finish to the start. And not as if it was busy at all it was the only place open for lunch so not like we had much of a choice for other options. Food was good enough but the customer service left a very bitter taste...

Visiting from interstate and had lunch at the boatshed recently. The fisherman basket is TINY with hardly any chips at the bottom. The scallops also didn't taste good at all. They only provide 1 small bowl per main dish ordered and if you want extra bowls it costs additional $5! First time ever come across such a ridiculous charge as all items will be collected back again afterwards so why charge people such an outrageous fee? Fish tacos had good flavour but expensive as you only got 2. View and access to beach was good and there is a shaded playground on site though not in direct sight from the eating area. Overall just don't recommend the fisherman basket - poor quality taste, quantity and not good value for money. Won't be back...

Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friend and I visited Boatshed for the first time and were seriously impressed! We had the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale — both were absolutely delicious. The soft brioche was a standout and paired perfectly with everything. Coffee was spot-on, and the waterside seating with views of the boatyard made the experience even better. Toilets were clean too. Only downside was the long queue to order — took over 20 minutes and made the hallway a bit cramped. But surprisingly, our food and drinks came out within 5–10 minutes, and the staff were fantastic. You can bring your pet. Overall, 5/5. Will definitely be back! Suggestion: Add QR code ordering to speed things up and ease the congestion.

I had the Fatty Boomba breakfast, it should be called the mediocre microwave or the Bain Marie mix up. Toast was cold, everything else was either greasy or sloppy. Only positive is the eggs are good and the meal comes out in a flash. On the plus side, the reason I gave 3 stars is the staff, absolutely top notch, great service, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Beware the large coffee. They’re not joking. It’s a soup bowl. The coffee is good. Atmosphere is good, relaxed and easy to have a conversation or just listen to the music and chill. I recommend coming for the coffee and the service.

Come across this little gem in the quiet area of Cullen Bay on the Marina. It's a bistro style cafe, order, pay, sit and have your awesome food delivered to your table. Ordered the fatty kaboomba, which in a large fry pan($22). We shared this meal as it looked huge. Every element to this breaky which is available all day was perfect. Even asked for a sneaky side of chilli. Service fast and food was delicious. Ate everything on the frypan. Left feeling satisfied
