On a personal taste and having eaten Indian food in many countries, unfortunately, this was not to my taste.. The location is fantastic, situated on the verge of a marina. Tables and chairs are basic wood with seating inside and outside. Service was fantastic from all staff! The food was a little bland for Indian food but we were a group 6 and there were mixed opinions.. Being a vegetarian there were quite a few dishes available so I took a paneer dish with rice and peshawari naan, the curry was ordered medium spicy but looks like they cater for westerners who don't like spicy foods, there was no kick to the curry. The peshawari naan was full of sultanas and no coconut or almonds plus very thin... I'm sure many will enjoy here but for me I wouldn't rush back....

Been to this restaurant a few times in the past few weeks and I must say, it is one of the finest dining spots for Indian cuisine. The restaurant is located at Cullen Bay, right on the marina, and offers a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. I highly suggest trying their Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken, accompanied by the Chicken Tikka Rice and Exotic Special Naan Bread as sides. The prices are very reasonable and the staff provide exceptional customer service, leaving a lasting and memorable impression. I highly recommend this place if you are in Darwin. Don't miss it!

Reasonably priced and tasting dishes (Palak paneer $17). #lambroganjosh lamb was tender, spicy sauce, no salt (which I like), but more herbs and fragrance needed. #roti (3.5$ for 1) not sufficient for a dish. #mango #lassi was the only lassi on the menu. Licensed restaurant, very well located on #Cullenbay marina. Great for date and business meetings. Last number 14 bus is 5:40pm. 30 minutes walking distance from CBD.. take Number 4 bus to the end of Mitchell street and walk to #Cullen bay.

While the food is authentic and delicious the service is SUBPAR. I’ve done both dine in and take away to try and give this establishment a fair shake. On the dine in; we ordered and paid at the cashier. The hostess was confused when we sat down at a table after we had paid and proceeded to inform us that we actually owed her an additional six dollars and the rice was no longer included in the chicken masala…. Is that logical to pay more and have an item excluded when dining in?

I wanted to chalk it up to perhaps an off day and decided to give it another chance with take away. We were informed that the wait would be about 30 minutes and they would give us a call once it was done. After 45 minutes and no phone call we returned to find our order was never sent back to the kitchen.

Mistakes can easily be made however most establishments will offer an apology or comp a portion of the meal and neither ever occurred.

The food here is great however after two disappointing visits surrounding service issues and hearing others echo similar sentiments; I’d recommend others to take their...

Oh my god. I regret trying this place. You guys win the worst Indian food in the NT award. Your chicken was so dry today. I challenge you to see this kind of food in India. Your restaurant wouldn't last a day. The tastiest dish at your place was the glass of water.

How can you sell that dog food for humans. I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the NT, and yours was the worst. That's $40 I will never see again in my life. And this comes from someone who has had food all over India. I received 2 large pieces of naan. It wouldn't kill you to cut them. Your curry tastes of tomatoes only. What else do you put in it except a LOT of oil. Do you even know what chicken tikka is? Does your chef understand what marination is? And this happened to me on a weekend evening in a semi-busy restaurant.

The food was an embarrassment to my origin as an Indian. Absolute disgrace. Forget me recommending you to someone. We have such a rich culture and varied tastes in food. We need to spread it in different countries. We cannot cheat poor people and pass them dog food for Indian food.

I...

Food was good, service was horrible. At first the waitress just dropped the cutlery for 5 people on the table and said enjoy, table was not washed. I ordered beef korma and got lamb korma. The waitress came back with the same dish and said it was the last beef korma (It was still lamb but it was ok. So I just agreed). We also ordered 3 different naan breads, 2x garlic naan and 1x chilli cheese naan bread. We got 1x garlic naan and they insisted it was the chilli cheese naan, after some complains we got the chilli cheese naan and the last garlic naan was still missing (we got it after some more hassle). This was 20 min after the food was served. We complained and got the garlic naan + chilli cheese naan at least. The plate and glass was also dirty. Food was also a little expensive for...
