Gloria Jean's Casuarina Square — Restaurant in Northern Territory

I used to go there frequently in the past when i worked in casuarina, and the ladies were quite nice. Not until recently, June 2023, the young ladies had a sarcastic attitude which was unacceptable from a custome service perspective. They did not share that my coffee would have sugar in it, so I asked for a new one nicely, and the taller young lady grabbed the cup and crushed it in the sink with horrible attitude and the tone of their voices were OFF. This came from both ladies, the tall Caucasian lady and the short little asian barista with the septum piercing and tatoos. Quite a horrible experience, I will not be investing my money here. Customer service must be at a high standard if you want happy customers. Being kind and genuine costs nothing, ladies. Women need to uplift each other, not project their bad energy on to othere. Rude staff member acted rudely when I picked a newspaper from the counter. She yelled saying "excuse me, you just can't pick a newspaper you have to pay". Which was ok but just calm your voice down. She said because of Covid, we can't just pick it up. I said I picked up because newspapers are left on the tables by customers so thought I can read one while having a coffee.

Customers are coming and going picking the left newspapers from the table and reading, that is no problem to them especially when they are talking about Covid. Seriously, have a staff for sanitisation and cleaning up too after each customer leaves...
