Nice looking little cafe, but that’s pretty much where it ends Food very average and mushrooms felt like they were boiled in butter then strained Off no flavour whatsoever And I think I’ve got four spinach leaves My husband HUSBAND got the veggie Breakfast Still scratching my head trying to work out why they call it a veggie plate Maybe add some Capsicum and onions try using cherry tomatoes and butter mushrooms not slice so Finley so they Tastedboiled Coffee☕️☕️ was very strong Brought my Granddaughter , a hot chocolate Asked for marshmallows was told they don’t have them Juice is not fresh. It’s out of a long life bottle. Overall, very disappointed Very average People go out for breakfast to enjoy cooked breakfast not something they can just do at Home . I know it’s running a business and to hear these criticism Start listening to your customers It’s really not hard to make a good really

My partner and I dined here last night for the $65 3 course Saturday dinner and I have to say we were blown away. The service was incredible, staff roaming the floor making sure everyone's drinks were full, great overall mood and the food, wow. Every single course was amazing. The sauce over the wontons was to die for, the kingfish was cooked perfectly, the mash with it was some of the best I've ever had, even the little piece of sundried tomato was full of flavour and an unexpected delight in what was already a perfect main. Had a lovely relaxed night out at the Lane Cafe. We dined in the outside area, it’s a beautiful space with ferns and large potted plants. The entree, main and dessert were delicious. I heard the comments from a large table near us about the desserts. They were all trying each others desserts and saying how good they were. It was quite funny to watch. I loved the sauces that accompanied the meals, delicious. We both had butterscotch crepes, so good. The staff were very attentive and it was a beautiful dinner. Praise to the chef...
