This place could be the best and healitiest takeout in nowra. Except that the service is so very hit and miss. Sometimes you get such great people, who are quick and attentive. And give the correct and reasonable portions of food.
Other times you get slow, pathetic service where staff don't even acknowledge you for the first 5minutes, as they're slowly discussing work rosters, or realised that the food is low. At least they could say, âSorry, Just 1 minute! I need to refill the cheese.â
Additionally. After spending $14 on a on a regular classic bowl tonight, that was HALF THE SIZE of the container. I kindly and cautiously questioned it, the boy just shrugged. I know I could fit this portion into a small container. I asked for a bit more lettuce, (cheapest filler I thought) and it was like I asked for free meal.
I will say, the food tastes great. But the sad service has forced me to experiment and learn to cook my own shredded meat. Thankfully I nailed it last week.
My partner and I been going here for about 6 years now. And each time we are more disappointed with the service.
So I can say thank you, because you have now convinced him, that for the price and service we receive, he could do it himself in the same price and high end ingredients from Coles. And he left the store, went to Coles and is making it all himself and it is still cheaper and serves 4 people for the same price of just his meal.
I have raised these issues in person, and kindly. NICELY. As a concerned patron! Asking if something has changed or is everything ok today, to figure out if why the staff are being rude to everyone a bit rude or slow over the years.
We want you to succeed in this town. We don't want GYG, or MDonalds or KFC. We want fresh Mexican, with consistent service and we are happy to pay...

The staff take forever to serve, and completely ignore you until they finishing fluffing around, and then they may decide to serve you, if they absolutely have to. Def hasnât got the same urgency as Subway, and yet itâs basically the exact same setup and concept- but I can order for 10 people, and in that same time, I still wouldnât have been served here.
They could bring in 3 times to revenue if the staff just, had some urgency about it. Canberra stores are so much quicker, and even GYG have nailed the speed, and they cook stuff!
If your ordering more than one item, expect about a 5 minute wait per person. Two people working, and 6 people lined up. Yeah .. youâre waiting about 15minutes before being served, to buy one burrito.
Despite this. The food is great, itâs healthy, and taste is good. But sometimes, if see more than 4 people lined up just go to subway. Or I go to Coles and buy something else for dinner/lunch m, the same ingredients and make it at home for about the same time, and cost, but 4x as much food.
So I yeah, very irritating. If i see some improvements, maybe me and my work colleges would eat more frequently there, maybe 3 times a week, as opposed to once a month?
And I managed to sign in to Google, find, draft, edit (several times) and post this review before I was even served. 2 kids serving, and only 4 burritos made is this time. Ok and...
