Pretty's Place Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

We found this place whilst on holiday in Ocean Grove. Stopped in for lunch. Owner was very friendly, had a laugh with us and was very welcoming. All food and drink was tasty, served quickly and great value for money. The kids enjoyed being able to easily access the playground for the centre located just outside the door (also a large tv screen which they can view through the window). We returned tonight for our son’s birthday after hearing that it had recently started serving dinner. Couldn’t fault anything. Service was prompt and the girls were very friendly. The meals were again beautiful. We had salmon, steak and lamb shanks. The steak was of a super high quality, cooked exactly as ordered and priced at $36 - would easily pay $50+ in city (or even more for a rubbish quality steak at a pub). The kids also really enjoyed the bolognese (kids meals are generous sized serves, 3&6 year old shared). Feeling a bit sad that we won’t be able to visit again until another holiday over this side. Highly recommend, especially since dinner is a new venture for this restaurant can only imagine it’s set to get even...

I popped in to Pretty's Place cafe for a late lunch today and was so glad I did! I'm doing low carb eating, and, in a world of lunchtime wraps, buns, bread and chips, had despaired of ever being able to eat out again! I ordered the chicken burger without bun or any chips. 'Really'? the staff person said, unable to believe her ears! But then she offered a substitution: salad. I was so happy as the meal was not only delicious, but I wasn't charged any extra for the things that I couldn't eat, in fact my healthy, delicious meal was the same price as the special! If I could give this more I would. Everything here is world class. I’ve travelled around the globe many times but this is a highlight for me. The coffee was like it had been made in Naples. The food was like being in a French cafe. But it’s the service that makes it stand out. Especially a young lady called Alisha. Her friendly smile is infectious nee angelic. And boy her coffee skills are next level. Alisha is an absolute asset to Pretty’s Place, her politeness and casual conversation is infectious. We need more Alisha’s in this...
