On Friday 30May25, my wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Lucetta restaurant in Orange. The menu offered a wide selection of high-quality ingredients, all prepared to perfection by a skilled chef. The restaurant served modern, authentic Italian cuisine, and all dishes were cooked to order. While this may have slightly extended the wait for some dishes, it was well worth the wait.

The restaurant had a small size, but it had an excellent service from friendly staff. The wine list was impressive, and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable, matching the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s skill.

I highly recommend this restaurant whenever you visit Orange.

When ordering a Burrata, I suggest ordering a Focaccia, as they complement each other well. The 500-gram Rib Eye was exceptional (requested Blue-still mowing). It was perfectly cooked, showcasing the impressive quality of the meat and ingredients. The Bitter Leaf Salad was also very nice, and the desserts were amazing. The deconstructed Tiramisu was interesting and...

Dropped into Lucetta Dining on Thursday for lunch, no booking and the restaurant was busy. We were offfered a choice of a table or to sit at the bar, we took the bar option. We had walked by the restaurant earlier that day and while looking at the menu and admiring the building from outside, Hannah opened the door (they hadn't opened for lunch, they were prepping) and happily told us a little bit more about the menu and if we decided to return, to call if they aren't showing any seats available. Her genuine approach helped us to decide where we would have lunch. We weren't disappointed, the food was awesome and we shared a bottle of Pinot. Hannah explained they also offer a set menu, though on this occasion we opted to pick our own. We will happily go back next time we visit Orange, noting Hannah told us about numerous other restaurants, all of which sounded like they deserve a visit. Thanks Hannah for...

Food - lovely. We had the $80 set chefs menu. Service - ok We had booked for 6.45pm dinner. We arrived on time and were seated. Water was offered and then it seemed like an eternity before we were asked for drinks. We decided on the set chefs menu for dinner and were astonished with the amount of delicious food that arrived. We were enjoying our food, drinks and company when we were told we had to finish up as they had other diners for our table. We still had 1/2 bottle of wine! Not once were we informed that there was a second sitting or that we only had 1.5 hours to enjoy our night out. Maybe this should be written somewhere when you book or don’t offer the set menu when you have rebooked that table. If we hadn’t been rushed out, we wouldn’t have left with a bad taste in our mouths. Will we...

Lovely dinner at Lucetta Dining. Caring staff, rustic walls and nice atmosphere. The dishes are pretty classic Italian with some variations. My partner loved her Pork Milanese & my Duck Ragu was excellent. We also sampled the Asparagus with whipped ricotta romesco salad (fairly small), the snack sized Mortadella fritto with Cacio e Pepe; The Pesce crudo (snapper) with yuzu, colatura, lardo, pickled radish. Also the lovely Vitello Tonnato being Poached veal, tuna cream, fried capers, chives Only fault for mine was that food came VERY fast. We were the first customers in the door at 17:15 were out by 18:35. Too fast for me and my aging stomach. Anyway, a pleasing and pleasant experience - 14/20.

Visiting Orange from Sydney 🙈 We popped into this place spontaneously but was very surprised with the overall experience. The service was on point, all staff were very welcoming especially the waitress that took care of us (I didn’t get the chance to ask for her name). The food quality and its taste were definitely pleasing. We order the focaccia, tartare di manzo, burrata, mixed mushroom ragu pappardelle and the rib eye. Although the rib eye was a tiny bit too salty for our personal preference, all other dishes were spectacular especially the tartare and pappardelle. A must visit and must try Italian restaurant in Orange! Definitely would visit again next time we are in Orange! 🫶🏻
