McDonald's Orange — Restaurant in Orange

The restaurant was in an absolute state of uncleanliness. We have NEVER seen a McDonalds store this bad. We have witnessed the standard of cleanliness go down over at least the last 12 months in both the Orange and North Orange stores, as well as the Bathurst store. The staff were all very busy so we can only conclude that they have neglected to staff the restaurant adequately to ensure a consistent standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the day. When we walked in I searched the restaurant inside and out for a clean table. I could find none and had to settle for a table that was cleaner than the others. The floors were all very dirty, including what I could see of the kitchen floor. There was liquid on the floor near a table by the door of the playground. The floors of the restaurant and playground were littered with rubbish and food. The bins were full and overflowing. In the ladies bathroom the floors were dirty and it was in need of attention. My husband and son used the men’s bathroom and the stench of ammonia from old urine was so strong their eyes burned!!! This is disgraceful and unacceptable. Totally not the standard we expect of a multinational company that has the financial resources to staff their restaurants properly and maintain acceptable standards of cleanliness and basic hygiene. We ordered our food at 4.18 pm and finally received it at 4.42 pm. That was an unacceptably long time to wait for our meals in our opinion. We have witnessed the standard of cleanliness and wait times deteriorate in both the Orange s restaurants over the last year or so and have held off complaining until now hoping it would improve but it’s just getting worse! Someone from head office needs to come in and train the staff again and make sure enough staff are rostered on especially in busy periods. There is simply no excuse for the unhygienic dirty restaurant we experienced today. None. We really don’t want to eat...

WARNING!!! DANGER!!! CAUTION!!!

I reluctantly went there again and got what I had expected... THE WORST MCDONALDS ON EARTH!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! The photo Im posting with this review will do no justice in describing just how putrid this place is. I ate a cheeseburger and got instantly sick. I found a piece of mop (as in what they mop the floor with) in my chocolate thickshake. Thats when I decided to check how bad the big mac was, even though it was already destined for the bin... Clearly asked for no pickles.. when I opened the box, what do you think was there staring me in the face? Putrid rotten pickles. You could smell how off they were and the cheese looked like it had been sitting on the floor in someones dirty car for a week, it was off too.

Not sure how this place is still in business. The workers quite obviously look as if theyre on their way to the methadone clinic right after theyre finished digging through the vinnies bin for some used clothes they might be able to swap to their weed dealers for a tenner of low quality chinese weed.

I wish I could do something to either get this place fixed or taken out of business because theyre ruining good...

A really poor McD's in my recent experience. I have been there a number of times in the couple of months and been really surprised by the grossness of the venue and sub-par service. Employees cranking scremo/emo music loudly when open to customers early in the morning through the PA (not a criticism of the music or genre but the volume for time and place). Tables filthy with no one coming by to check to clean, looked like food mess had been there overnight as sauce was dried and hard, flies getting amongst it. Dead bugs all over the play slide when my son wanted to play. Have had to wait for food in drive through each time I've gone through despite ordering minimal items; soft serve cones and/or a coffee or two. Really hope they improve soon as it's a conveniently placed McD's but could not recommend to anyone nor would want to meet there...
