After taking my kids to the airport, we stopped in to grab lunch before heading home. I used one of the self-service machines to place my order, and I pressed the "pay at counter" option as I only had cash on me at the time. The machine didn't print a receipt, but with the number displayed on the screen, I proceeded to the counter to pay for my meal (approximately $58 ). I could see quite a long line of people at the counter, so I asked where the back of the line was but quickly discovered that no one (customers) had been served/spoken to or even acknowledged for quite some time and they were all very much agitated. As I approached the counter, I could see a man who was obviously the manager maning the drive thru, another young man flipping the burgers and a younger girl on the fries. The young man on the burgers saw people looking over the counter and said something to the manager, and he looked over and just kept on doing what he was doing. One lady in the line said she had been waiting 15 minutes for an ice cream cone and still hadn't received it. A clearly frustrated lady approached the counter and asked the younger girl if she could place her order, and she very hesitantly placed the order. I then asked if I could pay for mine, and she hurried off to the manager who again did nothing! With kids who were getting hungry and after 20-30mins of waiting to pay for my meal, I decided to try the drive thru instead. That took 15 minutes, and then they messed the order up anyway. My son has allergies to tomato, so I asked for no tomato sauce (notified them of the allergy), and they still put sauce on. Worst McDonald's...
Read moreI have 2 unpleasant experiences with this Mc Donald's. First time I went there for ordeing breakfast, I ordered sausage egg muffin and ice coffee as a meal via drive through. The staff gave me the food, then did not say anything about my drink, so i kept waiting at the window. 2 ,3 minutes later noone came to ask me or checked with me if I need anything, i had to call out from my car towards the window. A girl came out, she was wearing grey colour uniform so maybe she is a supervisor, she just looked at me, I asked her i am still waiting for my coffee, she turned back and saw a cup of ice coffee on the bench (that cup was already on that bench before they gave me my muffin) , she handed me that drink without saying anything , i said are you sure this is my drink, all she replied was Yah, no smiling, no sorry and turned away. Very bad customer service, how could I know if that drink actually is for me , and how long it sit on that bench.
The second time i came back I hope for something changed. Order banana bread with Ice mocha. Drove to the pick up window, staff said wait here, 3 mins later, nothing came out while it wasnt busy at all. Finally they gave me a bag with my muffin inside and no drink again. I asked where is my coffee. He turned away and get the drink. I asked him are u sure this is my ice mocha, he said yah. I asked how come you guys took so long, just a banana bread and 1 drink. Read moreI don’t usually review fast food outlets however I was time poor between commuting and meetings and needed to eat. My experience from placing my order at the drive thru, paying at the first window and collecting at the second way to parking and eating my meal was the best I have ever encountered at any fast food drive thru. The staff member taking my order was polite, had great manners and demonstrated great customer care by confirming my order before asking me to drive through to the next window. There were quite a few cars in the queue however we moved through quite freely with limited delay. When I paid for my meal the young lady was again very polite and also wished me a great day. At the second window the second young lady physically checked my drink cup did not have spillage that would mark my cup holder in my car, greeted me, handed me my order and wished me a great day. I then pulled into the carpark to eat my meal as I figured this was the best experience ever, I was then impressed with quality of the food for what it is.
