Trip to Port Lincoln a few weeks ago with our parents - breakfast at @rogueandrascal: yummy food and friendly service! . Truffle me this - Truffled mushrooms, garlic labnah, confit cherry tomatoes, poached egg, feta, kale & crispy enoki on rye sourdough: always love a good mushrooms based dish! The truffle flavour wasn't super strong but nicely done. . Bao buns - Crispy Katsu Chicken with house made carrot and cucumber pickle, mixed herbs, peanuts, gochujang mayo & fresh chilli: delicious crispy chicken! Can't go wrong with this one if you like bao buns 😊😊. . Turkish eggs - Two poached eggs on a bed of whipped garlic yogurt, confit tomatoes, browned sriracha butter served with crispy kale and crunchy sourdough for dipping: it was really nice dipping the sourdough through the yoghurt and poached eggs 😍😍.

Came for breakfast based on rave reviews. Without a doubt is the most popular café in town. It is just in front of the jetty and next to the art Centre. While the coffee was good, the food overall was disappointing, although it had excellent presentation. The scrambled eggs lacked seasoning and appeared more like an omelette rather than scramble. The pancakes were OK but some of the strawberries pieces were not very fresh. Rosti was excellent. Staff are very friendly and we will recommend for a coffee only.

On our way to Coffin Bay, we drove past Port Lincoln and instantly I liked the place. So, I asked my partner if we could have brunch in Port Lincoln on our way back to Adelaide. Excitedly, I searched for the best place and I found The Rouge and Rascal.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was packed and when the lady took our orders she said that we have to wait for 30mins because they were busy. So, I was like that would be fine as I just took my medicine and 30mins is not that long. However, it was already 11:27 but our order didn't arrive yet. It was already more than 30mins as I paid my orders around 10:47. I have to make a follow-up and I wasn't feeling well anymore as I have to eat on time due to my medication.

Yes, the food arrived after 2mins from the follow-up call and we finished eating them just in 7mins. They also forgot to serve water to us

The food was just fine. It doesn't have a wow factor to me. Maybe I was not feeling well anymore and was not able to...

I was in Port Lincoln recently and was looking for a great coffee in the morning. This is how it went: Day 1 - I ordered a flat white and long back to take away. Both were amazing and hence decided to go the next day there as well Day 2- I ordered a flat white again and this time the coffee taste wasnt that great. However, I ordered a brekkie "summer poke bowl - vegan" it was amazing and one of a kind. So decided to go back again on day 3 Day 3- Flat white was average if not worse. And ordered the same summer poke bowl vegan. But this time, the rice in the bowl was very stale and dry. The food went cold quickly and was hard to eat which made me think it was old.

So after mixed experiences, I cannot give a rating of 5 which I would have if I had stopped going there after day 1. However that didn't happen...
