My partner loves Thai food so we stopped here for our dinner on our road trip back to Gold Coast. It’s a Friday evening so very crowded and luckily we made our reservation. We quickly ordered our food after looking at the menu. We had the salt and pepper squid and the red curry duck which are their house signature dish. I had a bitter lime lemon and my partner had a Japanese beer. The good came quick and we were happy to see the nice portion of the duck in the red curry dish. We had duck curry very often in Thai restaurants but theirs is the biggest potion that we’ve ever had. Moreover, it’s very juicy with crispy skin. The curry was not too spicy, so it’s perfectly fine for us. The squid was tender and the batter was also not thick, we also enjoyed it. The staffs were very friendly and attentive, reasonable price, so why not give it a go?! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

Yummy spicy foods! I was pregnant when my husband and I went there for lunch, so I definitely enjoyed it. During my first trimester, I can only eat spicy foods without getting nauseous. The waiting for food wasn't long. The portioning was a bit generous as we even have some taken home. I forgot the names of what we ordered as it was months ago but I cannot forget that I called either that same day or the next day to ask if we can get a copy of our receipt since my husband forgot to get it. The woman on the other end was polite and accommodating, assuring me that I can get it any time. That to me is part of a great service!

Absolutely 💯 great food and service. The Pad Thia went down well. Atmosphere and the vibe was amazing. It was very busy when I came in. The food only took 10mins to come to the table. Well done to the owners and staff. I would be coming back if I come to Port Macquarie again. Thank you Glass House Thia. Finished all the food. Something is telling me that the food was absolutely delicious Big Zaf from Melbourne

What an uncomfortable and unnecessarily bad experience. Looked up the place online, menu sounded yum and fully licensed, wine by the glass or bottle... Walked in, place was buzzing at dinner time, waitress was just clearing a table for 2. She turned to me, I said "table for one", she said "takeaway", I said "no, dine in, table for one". She glanced around uncomfortably and the pointed to another table for two that was reserved and said "no room sorry". I pointed to the table She had just cleared and said, "what about that one?" She begrudgingly seated me. I asked for the drinks menu to be cut off saying BYO only, like what tha, I've screen shoted their site and drinks menu. Ordered the prawn pad si eaw with special Glasshouse sauce. Asian vegetables were scarce, I'm suspect the noodle and sauce were microwaved as had that intense scalding heat, very salty, but.... 8 crunchy large perfectly cooked prawns, soooooooo good, like incredible! I was made to feel like rubbish, their website for an out of towner was misleading, meal was overall average. Change all of this up to match your prawns and I would...

Fantastic Thai! Bit pricier than what we're used to paying for Thai, but well worth it. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff too. Will be back before our holiday is through! UPDATE: Hate to have to dock a star, but we went back for the lunch special (takeaway) and were shocked by the worst garlic pepper chicken we've ever had. It was stir fried in sauce with a handful of garlic cloves thrown on top and a sprinkle of pepper that landed only on the topmost piece of chicken. The least garlicy peppery garlic pepper chicken ever! My wife even had to add garlic aioli to it to get a hint of garlic taste. Just as well our dine in experience was so good, otherwise this would be a 2...
