Funland Port Macquarie — Local services in Port Macquarie

We bring our NDIS clients to this arcade pretty regularly. We spend lots of money and time here each week.

I’m giving this business a 1 star review because there are lots of quality of life issues. Reading through other low scoring reviews I can pretty much agree with what they say.

This place isn’t maintained, there’s dead bugs and stinky bins and machines that have been broken for months, even pushing a year. The Funland arcade cards are the worst. They rarely work, you load up 100 dollars into the card and it won’t even swipe into 50 percent of the machines.

The employees here have no structure or supervisor and none of them are over 18. I have nothing against young workers, I employ some myself in another business we own. But without a superior, their effort and discipline is low. Most leave for 20-30 minutes at a time, no where to be found. Meanwhile, 5 games have malfunctioned and taken people’s money, the employees Bluetooth is out of range and the ridiculously loud and annoying music now skips every second.

We will continue coming here despite really not enjoying our experience because it’s ports only arcade. But port is expanding fast and becoming very competitive. If funland doesn’t keep up it will...

Took my 6yr old here who loved it...but she's 6. The staff are none existent teens who either literally aren't there, they're vaping outside or locked away unreachable when the machines eat money off your card and not work. They literally ran when I tried signalling for help the one time I did spot them inside. Some of the machines are great, but a fair few don't work. This place could be fantastic, I suggest new staff or atleast hiring a proper adult to supervise the teens. Give the place a good clean, Maintain the machines and people will become return customers. As it stands I'll still visit when in town because the kids do enjoy it, however I really hope to see it improve as it's such a cool little business and would be a shame for...

It was our first time visiting Port Macquarie and we were looking forward to seeing and doing all the fun things it had to offer so funland was a sure stop, when we arrived it was quite a dingy little place with poorly maintained games there were fruit flies alive and dead in all of the claws and all of the chocolate that we won was white and melted, overall it was pretty underwhelming and a bit gross. Wont be on our to do list...
