Service was mostly fine (except the clearly underage kid pouring drink was a bit odd), atmosphere was relatively lively, but the food was not great and cannot understand at all these glowing reviews. Very little flavour in dishes that should have been bursting with it, even the chilli didn’t seem to make much of a dent. The pizza base tasted frozen/out of a packet, a bit like cardboard, stiff is a good word to use. The chicken pesto penne lacked any real pop of flavour, that should be easy to achieve in a dish based on the basil. Dinner was exceptional with much flavour, quantity and came to the table piping hot. A credit to head chef Michael ! There was 6 of us dining and each meal was consistent with the other. I had the Chilli Prawns at level 4 of heat. Plenty of succulent prawns as well. Service was also exceptional and nothing was too much to ask for. The only comment that I would make in a negative sense would be their lighting was a bit too bright. I would like to have seen dimmer lights and candles on the table just for ambiance. This place deserves its positive reviews. I had the house special pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten and full of quality ingredients. I’ve never seen so many LARGE 🦐 on a pizza. My wife had fettuccine and the sauce was delicious. The desert was equally as good. The owner and what we presumed was his daughter were kept very busy as it filled up after we arrived. Despite that they kept of top of the service and were very pleasant. We would highly recommend this place and will go again if we come to these...
