We decided to have brunch there yesterday and I ordered the steak sandwich, which I asked the young girl that served me, can I have my egg hard, it came out semi soft, but that wasnāt my concern. I observed the young girl that served me from when I sat down until I left, no hand hygiene. The young girl was touching her face, rubbing her face and touching her hair and not once did she do hand hygiene. She prepared drinks, touched dockets and delivered cake and drinks to customers and still no hand hygiene. I spoke to owner, who said that she has allergies, isnāt that a red flag to sanitise your hands more often or use gloves. The young girl put me off my food and I will never return there. For over a year and a half Cafe Bambini has been our place to go to for breakfast, however the past couple of times have been mediocre to say the least. I have always been impartial to the smashed avocado with a side of halloumi and it never disappoints⦠well until our last two visits. The first time it tasted so bland but I chalked it up to being a once off, no biggie, but now that itās happened twice in a row I feel like itās moreso how itāll be now. The smashed avocado was missing the balsamic glaze and the lemon wedge therefore having two of the most flavoured components missing, and not to mention the scrap of halloumi I paid $4 for. But main gripe is, I was standing in line to place a breakfast order, the gent in front was having trouble with a NFC payment, the staff at the register looked at me and I expected to be served next. Just then four people walked up and form a line at the right side of the gent, I was on his left. The staff at the register call the first person in line to place their order, I went to step forward to place my order, but the staff then called the second person to place my order. The staff member was aware of my presence as they looked at me prior to tell the gent the NFC didn't go through. Tuesday 23rd at 9:47. We walked out. I didn't ask for the manager as this never solves anything as they give lip service to correct the issue...
