Visited for the first time in years and can’t say it was a very nice experience….whilst the icecream was nice, we were horrified to see the treatment of one of the young workers right in front of us… would hate to see how she was being treated behind closed doors!! It appeared she was still learning but was being bossed around quite aggressively by one of the older workers who I assume was the owner. Another one of the female older workers even slid the icecream cabinet door up smacking the young girl in the chin/face and then hardly apologised followed by rolling her eyes in a shop full of customers….!!! It was very sad to witness and I almost wanted to ask her if she was okay as she looked like she was about to burst into tears-I hope she knows her worth and has since quit her job there as no one deserves to be treated that way. I understand that having a new employee may be frustrating while they’re learning the owner could’ve gone about directing her in a different way and should maybe provide some training prior to rostering them on to work at such a busy time of day! Absolutely appalling service. Took my two kids for ice cream and immediately the guys tells my son not to touch the glass, as we were looking at the flavours. We got our ice creams and sat down to eat our ice creams. My youngest had not finished and my eldest 7 turned around and opened the fridge behind him, as he opened the door, I told my son to not open that. The guy came out and raised his voice not to touch that. I responded by saying I just told him not to open. He told me to just get out and leave. I got our stuff together, and then asked for what is that we had done, and he told me not be stupid and control my kids.

One - we were sitting and eating quietly. We were not causing any disturbances. My kids were not doing anything wrong. Two - it’s an ice cream shop, kind of designed for kids.

Maybe don’t have a fridge on your floor if kids cannot open it.

I would give 10 stars if possible. The BEST customer service ever, and catered for our special dietary needs with confidence. So many gluten free flavours (almost all on the menu are gluten free.) Vegan, & dairy free, plant based options too. Generous serving sizes, beautiful tasting ice-cream and sorbets. Highly recommend. The owners and staff here are so awesome, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions and serve us with great care. Convenient location. Shop was very clean and tidy.
