Double Shot Noosa — Restaurant in Queensland

I honestly can't praise this cafe enough. Whenever we are in the area we will always brunch here. They have an uncomplicated brunch menu with simple dishes that pack a punch of flavour. The smashed avo is the best we have ever had. Really open to changes on dishes as we. Add some Halloumi here. Change that poached to fried. Nothing is too complicated for them. They even accommodated our bacon cooking preference! The chef/owner and the girls on the counter are just so lovely. Always smiling and good to have a laugh. Don't leave without a muffin from the cabinet either. They are as good as they look.

Unfortunately, our experience was uncomfortable. The staff gave off a very negative attitude, unfriendly faces and no real effort to make us feel welcome, even though we were ordering and spending money. They kept asking if we were done even when our cups and plates were still full. My plate was taken without asking while I was still eating, and the same happened to my friends. It felt more like pressure than service, especially with plenty of empty tables. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but I wouldn’t recommend it. This quaint cafe should not be missed. Great service! Friendly greeting as we arrived with a bottle of cold water and tips on how to order. The menu is just right, lots to choose from without being overwhelming. We had the loaded croissant and smashed avo with crispy bacon, with two fresh juices. Nothing disappointed! Everything was fresh, tasty and prepared with skill. But it’s the welcoming owners and staff that make you feel welcome and appreciated, that was the winner for us.
