Valentina - the owner- hides in the back of the kitchen rather than admit she made a mistake by selling gift vouchers to regulars using inadequate point of sale business systems.

Tables always dirty, servings tiny for the price & staff serve with an unhealthy dose of poor attitude. Clearly a reflection of the nature of management.

As a Noosa local and a tourism operator that works across the street near the boathouse, whenever we visit our friend's that live around the corner, they choose Luuna to shout us dinner.

On this occasion, some dear friends that regularly dine at Luuna gave us a $100 gift voucher to dine at Luuna.

When I produced the gift voucher receipt that our friends had given us, the owner - Valentina - flat denied its validity despite plenty of verifying information on the printed receipt.

The argument that Valentina produced was that I hadn't shown her the corresponding paper voucher or email confirmation. After explaining that my friends had only given me the receipt of gift voucher purchase, Valentina claimed that she had no way of proving that the voucher hadn't already been used. The burden of proof should not lay with the customer in this scenario, Valentina!

I was required to contact my friend that had generously given me the gift voucher who then called Valentina directly. I watched Valentina back track and apologise over the phone to my friend but no approach or apology was given to me or my family. Instead, an employee was left to say sorry when my partner walked up to the counter to offer payment.

What was meant to be a beautiful story of sharing and gratitude was instead tarnished by incompetence, inadequacy, unprofessionalism & a total lack of courage to admit fault.

Unfortunately, this is another testimony about abysmal standards of service.

Absolutely gutless, Valentina.

EXTREMELY RUDE SERVICE! Last night, I took a few of my friends to dine here, we walked in at 6:45, and sat down to decide what to eat, when we went to order, the receipt machine was broken. We luckily managed to convinced the server (who I might add was extremely rude and surly) to ask the kitchen to make some nachos while we waited, so we waited patiently for it to be fixed, however this did take about 40-60 minutes! By the time this was fixed, the waiter said it was too late to order food, even though a table of 8 ordered literally seconds before us! And we had been there before them. We asked the waiter to ask the chef, who said he would be able to make us food, but she then went round the back to the kitchen, and spoke him out of it and said she would be unable to make food for us. We asked her for recommendations of whereas would be open now it was 8pm, and she judgementally looked at us and down and said McDonald’s!! Bear in mind we are 4 ladies working and living in Noosa coming for a fun meal out. Normally we would be very understanding of these situations as I am a lover for the food at Luna Cantina, but the service was so rude and she needs to fix her attitude, and to top it off our nachos were cold when we did get them. The least you would expect would be the ability to takeaway the food, or for a refund on the Nachos, as we wouldn’t have got them if we would have been told we can’t have eat in the end! Such as shame as I love coming here for a surf and turf burrito...

Constantly good. Eleven of us were dining in on Monday night. The service, food, ambience were very good especially in the new premises. We will come back for more.

My favourite Mexican and original. I am impressed with improvement and new promise. Excellent staff, good atmosphere and food.

Just good as always. There are a little adjustments but still good. Lovely staff, good food, licensed or byo.........what else you need?

Another visit. Such a lovely personal. And food always to our liking. An another visit and have to say we did enjoyed it as always. Still BYO but now you can buy drinks here. Such a wonderful personal, great food, and nothing wrong with atmosphere.We shall always be returning to this authentic restaurant. They absolutely doing the right things. Thank you again.

Luna Cantina is excellent. We have been surprised with lovely food. It’s not licensed, so we had to byo. There was reservation on our table upon our return. Sun's up beef burrito with chimichanga was devine. Luuna bowls with chicken, rice, beens, guacamole,j alapinos,cashew cream was on bit dry side per our liking but very tasty.
