Probably our favourite brewery/restaurant in the Noosa region. There’s always one or two rotating limited edition brews on tap to make a mixed tasting paddle interesting, especially for those like us who enjoy exploring the 6-8 per cent alcohol volume darker, chocolaty range. The Buderim ginger beer that was on offer when we visited was really good too, and super refreshing. While we’re not usually lager drinkers, the Japanese-inspired lagers here (rice and barley used during brewing process), are so crisp, flavoursome to the last note, and so well suited to the SE Qld climate.
Plenty of space indoors and out to relax, graze the menu of really tasty East and Southeast Asian-inspired shareable dishes and try all of the beers available on tap.
Takeaway choices include at least four of their regular beers, as well as some out-of-towner items such as a Tasmanian apple cider in a can.
While many breweries sell solely in cans now, it’s great that Heads of Noosa are still using glass. It makes such a difference in maintaining the freshness and proximity to the draft version of these Japanese lager-inspired beers.
Staff are all lovely, helpful and understandably proud of their operation. A must-do whenever...
Read moreWe went to Heads of Noosa today for lunch, Well what a pleasant surprise, as I always find things to complain about when going out. We arrived and we're shown to a table which was booked for 3 pm. The waitress who showed us to the table was lovely and always smiling. We chose our lunch, I chose the fish burger & chips and my partner had the classic hamburger with chips. The food came out quite quickly. The burgers were sensational and the chips were tasty, but a bit much salt on them. The meals were served with chipotle sauce, delivered by another friendly nappy staff member. I had a coke in a bottle and my partner a Japanese lager. I don't normally drink beer but tasted it out of my partners glass. It would have been great as a shandy. The meals were a great size not too big or too small. The price was quite reasonable too. I would recommend Heads of Noosa to everyone, pleasantly surprised with everything even the exit was pleasant, from the get go to goodbye. We will be going...
Read moreOk so dropped in for some takeaways after having a taste of the Japanese style beer at a restaurant but ended up having some beers in house, was served by 2 lovely young ladies with excellent advice on the styles of beers and the differences between them. 2 hours later with a thorough and detailed inspection of the available beers and beer snacks I am happy to report that this is a 5/5 establishment. The outside tables with shade and breeze is 100% on the money for a Sunday afternoon session. I enjoy a good beer and having had the the tasting paddle of beers then proceeded to indulge in the pilsener which was excellent. On a different note the music was very good and made the session even more enjoyable. I highly recommend dropping in, the food was great, the music was great, the drinks selection was great! You can bring your dog too! Go to the Heads of Noosa, you know you want to amd as just a bloke who likes a beer, I highly...
