Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Queensland

We regularly get take away food. Food is usually fantastic, including vegetarian options. Can take a few attempts to phone order in during busy times. Wait time for food is usually 15-30 minutes. However, had a really surreal experience last night. Our order included a vegetable chow mein. What I got was braised vegetables with no fried noodles. When I rang, the young lady informed me that chow mein does not come with noodles but they are available on request at extra cost!!!!! Thankfully, the restaurant owner intervened. My husband had to drive back to the restaurant (on the other side of town) and pick up the packet of fried noodles that should have been included. Anybody can make a mistake but please don't lie to your customers. Hopefully I never have to speak with that misguided...

Pretty terrible experience, the waitress knows nothing about the dishes, we ordered 3 dishes, waited there for 1.5 hours, only got 1 dish and went to ask the waitress, then I was told that we didn’t order it and it’s all finished…….I was pretty sure I told her that we would like to have it. We have had takeaway from here on several occasions and it is absolutely excellent. Freshly made, tasty and delicious and the young people who run this restaurant are a lovely young couple who deserve to be supported. Each of the meals we've had have been first class and you can tell that they have been freshly made and haven't sat in a tray being kept warm for hours.
