The service is very good! It's served all fresco in a beautifully lit up courtyard of Noosa Heads. I ordered the 3 tasting set of sake and the waiter took her time to explain the origins and flavours of each one! We ordered takoyaki, agedashi tofu (they customised it to take out the eggplant), beef noodles. Beautiful flavours and foods! They even gave me togarashi chilli powder for the seasoning. For dessert, I got the mochi and the iced green tea. I wasn't disappointed! I love good Japanese food ^_^ I'll be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Popped in here mid Tuesday afternoon and were blown away by the delicious food that was obviously made with a lot of love and care. Great lunch specials and my partner was super impressed with the Okonomiyaki which transported him straight back to Osaka! Will definitely come back when we’re in Noosa again!

1st time here for lunch and so pleased. Service by the owner was excellent, food was fantastic, and cosy izakaya like you'd expect in Japan. Highly recommend and look forward to next visit. Highlights were spicy edamame, takoyaki, fried whiting, chicken kaarage, and homemade pork gyoza. Oiisi!

Others have left great reviews and that’s why we went. They have an excellent website with very nice imagery (but none of this was on the menu/served).

We have given them the following verbal feedback on the night:

noodle dishes inedible (saturated with too-strong sauces), Okonomiyaki was not a vegetable pancake with sauce, it was sauce with some smoosh. Food was over-priced for the quality.

The quantity was fine. Our first waitress was nice, but the maître d’ didn’t build the atmosphere. The vegetable gyoza and edamame were reasonable though.

My belief is that there must be a good chef some nights (hence the good reviews) and then a “ring in” chef/ travelling chef for some other nights of the week. We will return to support this local business once there are some recent and positive reviews and the website/menu are...

We had dinner here a few days ago. We have eaten here a few times over the years. The spicy chicken and pork had too much sauce and was too salty. The other dishes were good. The restaurant was too hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. I would not recommend eating inside, outside in the fresh air would be better although the furniture isn't very comfortable and is very mismatched.

The staff often pack up with tables and chairs very loudly while a few tables of customers are still eating which is disturbing & rude. It was so loud it disturbed the restaurant next door too. The staff also mopped with a dirty looking mop with strong bleach while we were still eating around our table which was very off-putting. The wait staff also don't check how the meals are going or seem to want...

You know a Japanese restaurant is good when the gyoza’s are good. Let me just say, the wagyu beef gyoza’s here are AMAZING. Filling was beautiful, outside was perfectly pan fried, overall, a really tasty gyoza.

We also had the okonomiyaki pancake (not sure if that’s how you spell it) which I could keep eating all night it was that yummy. We then shared the fried whiting which was again yummy.

The sweet potato chips were nice but not that fluffy - probably I’m just not used to Japanese style fries.

I loved the unique style of this restaurant - sort of tapas like since it was focussed on small plates for sharing.

I forgot to take any...
