Well my experience tonight was more than unpleasant. At the drive through I was watching through the window of the customer facing staff and witnessed a young gentleman juggling something from cup to cup whilst interrupting the you lady serving. Now this was nothing out of the ordinary and I don’t see anything majorly wrong with this as having fun at work is more than acceptable as long as it’s professional in a certain manner. When I collected my drinks I mentioned to the young lady “don’t let your friends juggling ruin your productivity” I said this in a nice manner and there was nothing untoward intended by the comment. I work in a customer facing business and understand the perception of others can be very important even in all a bit of fun. So I literally had no problems with what had happened at this stage. What I have a major problem with is the young juggler slash employee must have decided it would be fun or funny to serve me at the other drive through end with nothing but a poor attitude and a smart comment. To give you an idea my twelve year old daughter even commented on the actions of the employee. I can only assume that he may have taken offence to what I may have said in tongue and cheek and then has taken it upon himself to think that it would be a good idea to give the customer, me some attitude whilst handing the food over that I had paid for. At this point I decided that I had no trust in the food that had been handed to me and therefore handed it back to the employee and made sure he was aware that I was unhappy with his service. Too be honest I think this is a poor lack of judgment from the young gentleman, but if I don’t take the time to write this review I don’t believe he will learn what the importance of respect is to a customer as well as professionalism. Please ensure that someone has a discussion with this employee because it’s important that there’s and understanding of what the company standards are and that his actions are a reflection of the business. If anyone would like more details I’m happy to provide. End result is I’m most likely a detractor to your business for some time and I’m sure anyone in the executive team understands the effects of customers with poor experiences. I’m $19.20 out of pocket and my daughter now upset had to eat a bloody Mc Chicken Burger😂 On a positive note your app is good and user friendly and I hadn’t had a poor experience up until tonight. I’ll...
Read moreDoes everyone remember the miss Universe pageant of 2015? The year where Steve Harvey hosted it, and accidentally announced that Miss Columbia won the competition when she was really only first runner up? And then Miss Columbia had to watch as Miss Phillipines took the prize.
KFC Mackay made me feel like Miss Columbia, in so many ways. I said “may I please have a zinger box with no sauce and no lettuce on the burger, just the chicken and the bun” “yes, that’s no problem” I was told with a smile. Nice, genuine customer service I thought.
I patiently waited my turn, picked up my food and walked out to my car. Sitting in my drivers seat I’m ready for it. I’ve been on a mining camp for 13 days. I’m ready for that meal, and it’s ready for me. I always open the burger first to see if they listened, and my burger appeared to be as I requested, no mayo or lettuce in sight.
So I’m sat there, just as Miss Columbia, a lettuce and sauce free burger on my mind. I ate my wicked wings and some of my chips, now for the best part, the burger. I take a bite, the chicken is fresh. This burger is good. Little did I know, I was about to be hit in the face with a mayonnaise cricket bat. Upon chewing the first mouthful I discovered that one of your employees, just like Steve Harvey, had screwed the pooch. It was like someone had managed to compress a cubic meter of sauce between the chicken and the bun, without getting any on the edges visible to the human eye. I could feel that crown being taken from atop my head, and being firmly placed on the enemy’s. I may have gotten runner up this time, but maybe the other KFC in town will give me the miss universe crown with the sauce and lettuce free burger of my...
Read moreAfter a considerable amount of time without visiting KFC, I was genuinely looking forward to enjoying a Zinger Box today. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards one would expect from an established brand like KFC.
The Zinger burger was poorly assembled—the chicken patty was unusually small and barely covered half the bun. The burger was overwhelmingly packed with lettuce to the point where, upon unwrapping, most of it had spilled out, leaving the meal unappetising and poorly balanced.
To make matters worse, the three wings included in the box were alarmingly thin, dry, and appeared to contain almost no meat. It felt as though I had received leftovers rather than a freshly prepared meal.
Overall, this was a highly unsatisfactory experience. For the price paid, I expected a decent, well-portioned, and fresh meal. KFC seriously needs to reconsider the quality control at this outlet. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this kind of service does not reflect well...
