Manning's Pies what can be said thay are the BOMB grew up with them so tasty love em all, There ARE no nasty pies . My favorite is the CURRY & RICE with mash & peas with tomato sauce just now I had a frozen beef pie 1 of 48 pies I bought in 2016 when we went back to Cairns for a visit to family. We have been in Darwin for 10 years now but we miss the pies, So the last 4 pies have been in the freezer for 7 years and it still tasted great. I put mash and gravy with it Tommy sauce awsome 🤗🤗😉😍😍P.S. I am NOW 51years and have had them since I was a little tacker I also want to say BILL & JENNY WARNCKE we miss u &Thank you so much Manning's Pies for all the great food & friendship memories. The service was very quick here so you gotta be quick to know what you want. Inside is very small and has room for maybe 3-4 people max before you see lines outside of the shop. Not sure why they dont show prices for all pies. I enjoyed my pepper steak pie. I really liked how they add whole green peppers that explode in the mouth. Taste wise I cant fault it. My gripe is that the pie is smaller than average and was finished in time. Pastry on the pie was average as well. We also tried the sausage roll, it too was small in size and had chunks of potatoes? Shouldn't really have chunks of anything in a sausage roll. Lastly, the lamination was dry inside, again...

If you have the chance to call in to the bakery, definately order the pea and potato pie. They take a plain pie,cut the top off, pile a heap of delicious mashed potatoes and mushy peas on top then put the top back on. The pastry is perfect, especially the top that crumbles when you bite in to it. Lots of meat. Heaven in your hand. Their curry pies, roast beef pies and pretty much everything they sell are...
