McDonald's — Restaurant in Queensland

Probably the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. The person in the drive through could not seem to get our order correct. Then, when waiting for our food, there was no one at the window for about 5 minutes. They handed out some of the food, and I checked to make sure it was all there, to find that the fries were cold. When the girl came back with our drinks, I told her that the fries were cold and she said "they have just come out of the fryer". I told her that could not be correct as they were cold, and offered to have her touch them herself. She refused, and then said that she would get some fresh ones. I asked for napkins for the 4 of us in the vehicle, and she came back and gave me 2 napkins. We were told to wait in the waiting bay for our fresh fries, and it would be about 5 minutes. Our son and his wife and 4 children were ahead of us, and had been waiting in the waiting bay for all of this time too. Our fries came out, and they still did not have their food. I ask the girl about this and said they were still waiting, and she said she would check on it. My son eventually went inside to sort it out himself, as he had waited for 15 minutes already, for cheeseburgers for his 4 children. When he came out he was livid. They said that he only ordered 3 cheeseburger meals, and they did not have any record of anything else. He asked why he would order 3 meals when he had 4 children. They were soooo rude to him, and gaslighted him making it seem that he was the one who got it wrong. There was another person who came out and made a comment about being charged 2 times for his order, and hoping that he would get his credit, then when they gave him his order, they gave him 2 orders. How hard is it to get this right?? We were travelling and had been on the road for 7 hours, and the kids were looking forward to their meal. Needless to say that we will NEVER be back to Childers McDonalds again. By the way, it was 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all....

TDLR: bad service, bad food. forgot two chicken nuggets and sauce! forgot to season burger, but at least was fresh. Took a LITERAL hour to get the bare minimum, even from maccas.

Picture this, it is five minutes to nine, there's a line of cars in the drive thru but its an hour till close, so that's fine. You pull into the drive thru that is backed out to the driveway. Ten minutes pass, but its pretty busy so you don't mind. But no cars are pulling forward. Another ten minutes. Suddenly there's movement, as a max exodus of cars leave the establishment due to wait times. You place your order online. It is now 9.25. You're hungry. You finally get your order in and are now waiting. You figure they have low staff. But from you're position near the window, you spot them. Not one. Not two. Not even three! And not four! BUT FIVE. Five staff members. So why the hold up? You finally pull forward. The person in front, from when there used to be seven, has been the first to receive their meal. It is 9.40 now. You pull to the window. The lady asks you what you ordered, dispite your order being on the sccreen behind her. The very angry lady hands you your bag. You check it, suspicious. Sure enough, there is no sauce. You ask for sauce. She hands you the sauce, dropping the tubs in the process. You ask for another pot, and she retreats.

Finally, after an hour, you open your two 10 nugget meals. Only to find, NINE nuggets in each?? One I can understand. But both were short? You bite your burger, hoping it will be better. While fresh, it's flavourless, no sauce, onion or seasoning.

Very subpar experience. Not worth an hours wait. Childers maccas please get your sh*t together. An hour just to have so many mistakes even when most of the cars in the line pulled out because of the...

Food was excellent. Had new ordering screens excellent. We had chicken wraps & filet fish each. Vanilla Thick shake terrible. 2 sweet not thick & cold . The colour was a slight choc maybe mixed in with the plain or maybe not mixed properly not sure how it's made. Looking 4ward as a treat been a while disappointed . 2 much in a rush 2 ask 4 money back or another juice. We did sit down 2 have our lunch. All the Tables needed wiping. small nice store. They could have quickly run around & wiped tables. No 1 did in the time we were there & someone could have . Would have taken 5 mins if that . Quick wipe etc. Bin needed changing over flowing which they did while we were there. Obviously no 1 looking after the floor. Busy morning . Condiment counter serviettes had run out they filled straight away after we asked. That corner looked untidy. They needed 2 have someone looking after the floor area & Ladies toilets. I would hate 2 think that the person behind the food area would check the toilets. A quick sweep & the sink wiped . Busy small store . Clean tables would be appreciated & clean toilets would be appreciated. Lots of traffic going thru the place. Drive thru busy & inside steady. Not fair that we have 2 put up with unwiped tables. Tables need 2 be cleaned & ready 4 the next customers not left like that all day until someone eventually gets around 2 wiping them down. It's all part of the service. This is not a isolated issue with Maccs . This maccs felt dirty & untidy on the floor. Staff looked nice. Tables cleaned & toilets cleaned would have been excellent . Love 2 see an improvement next time...
