I visited hoping to find a safe snack as a coeliac. When I inquired about gluten-free options, I was disappointed to find only one cake available. However, the most shocking part was the staff's response.
The woman I spoke to responded to my simple question by openly rolling her eyes and mimicking me. As someone with a serious autoimmune disease, asking about ingredients isn't a preference; it's a medical necessity. I shouldn't have to justify my dietary needs to be treated with basic respect.
While the lack of options is disappointing, the mockery from a staff member is unforgivable. I cannot recommend this cafe to anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions who rely on staff's knowledge...
