My son who's disabled and I entered the lift to go up to the restaurant (two ladies from upstairs came down and unlocked it).
My son and I got locked in this elevator and no one knew anything. She had to get staff from a different enterprise to help. My husband was beyond angry, my son was beside himself Panting about to cry. There was no aircon, you can barley fit a wheelchair in the lift that I was leaning over this wheelchair it was that tight. The lift jammed and the door was a timber door with a clear glass window (my husband was about to smash the window) our son is a chronic epileptic, I don't think you understand the stress of being contained in. Small space with no air, nor the ability to get him into recovery position if one came on. The staff where not bothered until my husband became frustrated. I not kid you it was so hot in that elevator, we finally got out and the staff literally were laughing. Other residents of upstairs were just as pissed off at there behavour and manner. Laughing like it was funny is not okay and you should be disgusted in yourselves. (Mostly the cafe worker). Not once did any of you ask if we were ok! I will be submitting a complaint to the council as the business owner. The little boy bad mother you laughed at today belongs to a large family who won't hesitate to write reviews over the next few days to see how you feel. The bystanders are also writing into make a formal complaint against your establishment. Disgraceful! You're lucky I was mid panic attack and wanted to get my boy and head to my...
Read moreI recently visited My Rainbow Cafe with the intention of purchasing a custom cake for a very special occasion at the end of the month. I had a budget of $1000 and also wanted to book a table for 10 people in the near future as well. When I arrived, I asked to speak with the manager about these requests.
The lady at the front desk called over the manager, who greeted me with, "What do you want?" in a very abrupt manner. I explained that I was looking to get a quote for a custom cake. She responded dismissively, saying, "Can't you see I have a busy restaurant to run? I don't have time for you. Either sit down and I'll get to you later or come back," before walking away. For most, when spending that kind of money on a cake, itâs a very special time.
Stunned by this unprofessional behavior, I decided to leave rather than wait. As I was exiting, the manager handed me a flyer and told me to email her. I returned the flyer, expressing my disappointment in their service, and informed her I would be taking my business elsewhere. She took the flyer back without a word and walked away.
I was very disappointed with the lack of courtesy and professionalism displayed. I cannot recommend My Rainbow Cafe based on this experience and the manager should learn some more customer service skills. Truely appalling and...
Read moreâââââ Disappointing breakfast â I hope for improvement
I went to Rainbow CafĂ© with some friends for breakfast, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The atmosphere inside felt more like a canteen than a cozy cafĂ© â no music, a bit sad and cold.
The coffee was very poor: the milk was burnt, and the foam was full of bubbles instead of being creamy. The pancakes seemed like the pre-packaged ones from Coles, and the bread in the smashed avocado toast was still cold, probably just taken out of the freezer.
Iâm sorry to leave a negative review, but when you pay for breakfast, you expect at least some quality and care. Starting the day with a breakfast like this just leaves you feeling frustrated instead of satisfied.
I truly hope to see improvements in the future, because there is potential â but at this point, I wouldnât...
