Osk Bar — Restaurant in Queensland

Dropped in to OSK BAR this afternoon, took a seat at bar, ordered White Singlet and paid cash $19.00. Sitting watching my cocktail being made I thought "are they short shotting the nips and half nips?' Anyway.... left it.... got my drink... relaxed and started drinking it. EVERY DRINK I WATCHED MADE.... I SAW ONLY ONE FULL MEASURE OF EACH NIP/ HALF NIP MEASURE !!!! THE REST.... APPEARED NOWHERE NEAR FULL MEASURES!!!!! At a price of $19.00 AND UP I thought this is a bit rich? I left and was about 200 metres up road and a woman from the OSK BAR staff came up to me shouting I didn't pay for my drink !!!!!!!!!! EMBARRASSING !!!!! I went back and told the manager (who had taken my money) and he just said "you have to pay" etc etc. In the end he said ok and walked off.... EMBARRASSING !!!! Maybe licensing needs to be called to see if I am right about you paying for short measured drinks? Burst my "happy afternoon bubble completely" SUGGEST MAYBE WATCH YOUR...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Townsville cocktail bar! From the moment we walked in, bartenders Emily and Leisa made us feel so welcome, like we were locals. Their warm hospitality truly set the tone for a memorable night. The cocktails they crafted were nothing short of spectacular— You can tell they’re passionate about what they do! The vibe of the bar was romantic and ambient, making it the perfect spot to unwind. We can’t wait to return next time we’re in Townsville....

We previously had great service at osk but were disappointed tonight. We got a table and were served menus and water. Waited about 20 minutes, and no one took our order. Just as I went up to the bar to order, someone finally came to take our order. Waited another 10 minutes, and someone else asked if we wanted to order, we said we already did.
