Rocky Sports Club — Restaurant in Queensland

So after a long day of business discussions I always like to support a local club- this was horrendous - I ordered a steak, rare with mash n veg and Diane sauce - well it felt like the only thing hot on my plate was the sauce! The veg felt like it had been in the pan for at least a day , boiling away until it was mush, the mash was cold and even thou I asked for a rare steak it was still cold in the middle! I got the feeling that unless you ordered some deep fried nothing was going to be hot. The wine list is terrible- with what seems like red wines have been sat on a bar shelf for over a month.the team are friendly but I can’t help wondering what some actual training might be of benefit and increase sales in the venue….. come on clubs now a days are great venues with great food, great drinks and great entertainment but this venue really lacks any...

Absolute disgraceful meal. Went with a group of people on Saturday night. Meals came out at all different times. I had a Margareta pizza. This would have to be the worst pizza I have ever had. The pizza base was disgraceful. It looked like flour and water no yeast in it to make it fluffy. What can I say about the topping. The tomato was just sliced tomato. Disgraceful. All it was was sliced tomato and cheese. Where was the basil leaves ? For quality and presentation, I would give it a zero. This has to be the worst venue we have ever visited, The staff are not trained at all, The food is ghastly and service is non existent. The place was filthy with cigarette buts in the pot plants. They also placed incorrect keno tickets on for us resulting in a substantial loss. When this was bought to their attention there was not a manager to be found and would not take any responsibility for the mistake. If we could give minus stars as a review we surely would.
