Bliss by Night was a pleasant experience. With a warm feel, yet upbeat and modern at the same time.
Tables were well set, and not over crowded, plenty of room for drinks and whatever else you decide to. Indulge in.
Cocktails were pretty good, at an affordable price, they tasted great and were appealing to the eye, having photos of each cocktail on the menu was a pleasant surprise that my wife found helpful.
Service was prompt and polite. Water was topped up and we did not have to ask for refills, service was very attentive to each table and attentive to detail.
The waitress was very helpful in choosing from some of the delicious tapas. The tapas were brought out within 5 minutes of ordering and was presented well.
The mains were fantastic, full of flavour, presented with pride, cooked with passion. I have no complaints. Look forward to returning to try other options on the menu.
Prices were modest, I've paid more for less. Stop putting it off, Bliss by Night...
Read moreI consider myself somewhat of an eggs Benedict connoisseur, an eggy Benny expert and a lover of bacon eggs and hollandaise sauce in many of its forms (Preferably in the form of food on a fork going towards my face) but even I was unprepared for the extravagant and delectable proportions that this Cafe served. Not only was it a big meal, it was perhaps the best Eggs Benedict to have ever seen the light of day since the great Eggburton Benedictine the third shone his mighty light down from above and blessed our culture with his creation. Truly a gift from the gods, or the wizards or perhaps just a random chaotic moment in the space time continuum where by chance all of the ingredients for said delight came together in exactly the right portions and flavours to leave this Aussie Egg Connoisseur salivating for more, despite my belt saying no more. 100000/10 that chef is a God. Also the Jaffa waffles were apparently quite nice, according...
Read moreThe food was excellent, very high quality and well presented, but way over the top for a pokey little ‘bistro’ style cafe located in an obscure position up a ramp. The service although good, was very snobby and snooty, something you would expect to find Prahran in Melbourne, Sydney’s North Shore or Sunshine Coast. I’m confused why people just don’t offer good old fashioned service, quality food, well sized portions and priced accordingly . This place not only offers snobby service (depending on what part of society your from), is overpriced and they are trying far too hard with their menu. Come on guys, what and who are you trying to prove to, it’s Rockhampton, not bloody central Sydney. I’ve been in the industry myself for over 30 years and your style is well outdated. I wouldn’t waste my time or money again. I remember serving similar style breakfast menu...
