Excellent place for all. We had the chilli chicken momos medium - even the medium had a good spice too. Egg fried rice - yummy, yummy with lots of vegetables and egg (from a nine year old). The Vege samosas were good, with a light spice. Paneer kadai was not something I’d had before, I got mild, I’ll definitely order again and may try medium next time. You could smell the butter from the butter naan when it arrived at the table and the garlic naan was also great. Mango lassi was a nice fdronjs addition. Lots for the vegetarians and meat lovers on the menu. Also a lot of items kids would happily eat. The desserts were great too.

Delicious Nepali cuisine at reasonable prices! Got takeaway here, including the: Momo platter 7/10 - A mix of chicken, chilli chicken and kothey chicken momos. All were fairly delicious, the plain chicken being the marginal favourite. Butter chicken 8/10 - Sweeter and a slightly different flavour to usual butter chicken I’ve had, but arguably better for it, super delicious! Garlic Cheese Naan 8/10 - Good portion and delicious naan! Achari chicken 6.5/10 - Interesting and delicious however portions of meat were quite small. Overall would have liked a bit more meat in the curries but otherwise a good meal and would come back!

Not crazily busy on the thursday night we dined, although plenty of uber eats leaving the restaurant. Ordered several different types of meals including those pictures, being the momos and another starter. Taste was very unique and didn’t lack anything and was very tasty. The interior of the restaurant was a bit slack though, but the food definitely redeemed it. Shout out to the young kid working there(under 18ish i would believe) he did a great job and had fantastic service!

😜 Crazy Momo is authentic Nepalese cuisine. My husband and I visited for dinner. 🍴 The staff were well presented, helpful in guiding us through the selection of choices based on what we wanted to try with a friendly smile! 😃 We ordered chicken momo, the vegetable biryani, a dal fry curry, garlic cheese naan and both the lassi drinks on offer - mango 🥭 and sweet lassi. We really enjoyed the dal fry and it was the first time to try a biryani, with a slight heat (but not hot that you feel you have eaten spicy food afterwards). Quality restaurant level food that is unique to Rockhampton. We recommend the biryani, dal fry and naan 🫓 in particular and both the mango and sweet yoghurt lassi that were made in house and delicious. Although we don’t drink alcohol 🍷 🍺 🥃 🍸 there was a huge range of drinks on offer, a menu to suit everyone. The price 💰 of the meal and drinks was reasonable and we think this will keep customers coming back time and again coupled with the excellent customer service. The chef is a cheery fellow that we met on the way out to thank for the meal. We wish Crazy Momo chef and staff all the best with opening this new business endeavour and look forward to dining with you all again soon. If you haven’t dined at Crazy Momo yet, you’re missing out. A great night out thanks to...

Where do I even begin? If I could rate this place a zero, I would.

We came in with high hopes after seeing the 4.6-star rating, but honestly, I’m struggling to understand how it got there.

There were only two other tables besides us — not a full house, not a rush, just three tables in total. Yet the service was a complete mess.

We waited around 40 minutes, and then got our mains before the entrées. Yes, mains first… then entrées. Completely backwards. It felt like no one in the kitchen or front of house had a clue what was happening.

My partner ordered butter chicken, which was supposed to come with complimentary rice (as clearly advertised). The rice never came. We waited, thinking maybe it was coming separately — but no one checked on us. We had to remind them while paying, and the waitress just said, “Oh sorry.” No attempt to fix it, no apology beyond those two words. She was clearly busy, but again — three tables.

My fried rice? Dry as my socks. No chicken in it. It honestly felt like a last-minute throw-together with whatever was left over.

I don’t expect a fine dining experience at every place, but this was just basic stuff — and they failed at it. With only a few customers in the venue, there’s really no excuse.

Disappointed is an understatement....

Great new addition in Rockhampton. We had ordered Momos, curries & naans for pick up couple of week ago.

We had Veg Momos & Veg Jhol momos which were excellent, generous quantity and served with chutney which was tasty. We loved the Momo and will definitely buy it again.

Curries were average. Mix veg curry had good taste however Paneer Butter Masala curry was average and have lot of room for improvement. With Naan we felt they could have done it better not sure if they have tandoor but it was not as tasty as Naan cooked in Tandoor. But again we will probably try it again as dine in.

Good luck to new owners and wishing they improve quality (little bit 😊) and try to be different than other existing restaurants as Rockhampton definitely need good restaurant which can...
