We're regulars here, but today was definitely my last! We get takeaway dinner at least once a week for family. I phoned and ordered meals for pick-up. On getting there, there was a bit of a queue. I had my 6-year old daughter with me... she just finished soccer and had her plate of fruits with her. I told her to sit in the waiting area which had a table with 4 seats, so she could eat while I stood on the queue. To my surprise, she came back and ate her fruits while standing. When I questioned her, she said the staff at the till (register) told her to get off the seat for another customer who was also waiting for food. At first, I thought this customer was elderly or had special needs or mobility difficulty, but it turned out to be an adult who was clearly preferred by this staff member. When I asked the staff member why he did that, he was like they got here first, but this guy was on the queue earlier. After that, I told my daughter to sit on the other seats in the restaurant, the guy still said no, because these other chairs are reserved by customers. I thought it was fair to not sit on reserved seats, but totally racist and unacceptable to be kicked off chairs meant for waiting customers, especially when there is no explainable reason why. Totally disgusted. We've been there several times and sat while waiting, it was my first time being served by this employee who claimed his name was Cain (not sure how he spells his name as he had no name tag on), but he's a total racist and his poor service will drive customers away. Gosh! I DO NOT...

I came for a family dinner after hearing great things, and I have to say—the food was absolutely amazing. The flavours were rich and well-balanced, the quality was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. It really showed that care goes into the kitchen.

However, the dine-in experience was disappointing due to poor service. The restaurant could benefit from a refresh, as it feels quite outdated. Some tables had cracked glass tops held together with tape, which looked unprofessional and could be a safety concern.

We arrived at 7:00 PM but weren’t able to place our order until 7:45 PM. There was only one staff member taking orders, clearing tables, and handling payments. I asked three times to order, and while she responded politely, she kept attending to other tasks without returning to us.

After finally ordering, we waited another 45 minutes for our meals to arrive—even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. It was hard to understand the delay.

That said, the food truly was worth the praise, and I would definitely come back—but next time, I’d opt for takeaway instead...

I never tested Indian food that worst before, I took my wife for her birthday dinner, me and my wife hardly able to eat a few bites. What a disaster. We ordered samosa for starter and it stinks, I think very old and dead.

We ordered vegetable fried rice and all vegetables are undercooked and a very sweet,

We also ordered palak paneer and that was the top of the disappointment, I never test that worse palak paneer in my life, I am about to vomit after a couple of bites.

We ordered papadum and soft drinks which is come last after all the food.

About customer service, worst ever I have seen, kids working with school dress on and dirty hands, have to remind a few times about order.

I spent $60 and haven't eaten anything, I feel really sorry about my wife. I am not usually doing reviews did the first time but never tested that bad...

Had an amazing lunch munch at Spicy Tonight with my wifes old school mate from Philippines. It does Thai and Indian food, so yummy 😋 we ordered Beef Laksa, Tom yum soup, Beef marsala and unlimited steamed rice. Wow wow wow 👌 awesome foods, beef laksa with noodles so yummy beef was so tender it disintegrated when touched so beautiful. The sweet and sour tom yum soup 🍲 very tasty and authentic flavours. The beef narsalaMy son had chicken nuggets and chips, very tasty nuggets that would put maccas to shame. Really very good service as they were close to full for lunch service. We had coconut juice and Bundaberg drinks @$3.20 a hit and sprite for the boy👦. It was very good, we will go again and munch there. The only thing half decent was the customer service from the staff. Our food tasted like soapy dish water. Even now hours after eating I feel like I have just eaten a bar of soap. The people here giving it great reviews are likely locals with burnt tastebuds who have never ventured out of Bundaberg and tried what this type of cuisine should taste like. It’s just a tasteless experience. Chicken had no flavour, the gravy was likely an out of date Pataks jar with 2 litres of water added to it. Invest in some Mylanta after eating there, you’ll need it afterwards believe that. You guys need to get a chef who knows how to cook this cuisine properly, not old mate mixing old jar sauce with water then adding old chicken in the back room. 🤢
