Sundaes @ The Pier — Restaurant in Queensland

Terrible service, the older man was very rude towards my mum and I. Walked into the store and he expected us to know immediately exactly what we wanted. We told him we were still deciding. We then asked for 2x 2 scoops and he stood there staring at us not saying anything. I then asked for mine in a cup and my mum asked for a waffle cone and pointed at the display waffle cone. He then proceeded to tell us we can not have that waffle cone because it won’t fit 2 scoops in it. We then asked if we could have one that would he said yes but still continued to go one about that we couldn’t have that waffle cone my mum pointed to. We then explained to him that the display cones were sitting right above where the scoops size and price were and we explained that this is what It looks like, depending on the size this is what cone you would get.He tried to defend himself and was very rude while explaining using inappropriate words for customer service. We then walked out of the store without any ice cream. Was not impressed and will not be going...

0/10 0 stars HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENED!!! I got served by the rude and stingy server Chris Bye who owns Sundaes at the Pier. He served me an extremely small 🍓 strawberry single scoop. It was the smallest single scoop I have ever been served and was very expensive at $5 for a tiny scoop. I asked him if he could put on a little extra but he refused and just berated me and said that's all I was getting. So I handed the icecream back first time I have ever done that at a icecream parlour. Mr Chris Byes service was truly terrible and a real scorge Mcduck in terms of the quality of the icecream scoop. Great ice cream, service is incredible. Chris is always very generous with the servings, especially for the price. And, before you ask what is in the 'Stairway to Heaven' flavour, I quote, "it's icecream mate". People just condemn this business with bad reviews out of jealousy for the joy and happiness that the staff have from working there.
